I have already signed up and am thus far pleased. I would love to hear from a Yodel users who have 6 months, or 2 year experiences. This I have not been able to find. Any long term Yodel users out there?

I am in charge of the marketing and business development for a tax/financial planning firm in San Jose, CA. We've been with Yodle for about 18 months (so 2 tax seasons) and we've had good results. Our account has good performance because I've spent a lot of time on it -- rating calls, responding to reviews, uploading photos, and monitoring which keywords are working and what needs to be changed.

Clearly, the fact that you can't find any real long-term users with documentable proof the yodle thing is successful for them IS documented proof they stink on ice. The other positive/supportive posts in response to you are obvious plants... yes I'm calling Bravo Sierra on them. Their statements sound like something spewed out by obama's press secretary... they read like the script those jerkoffs recite in their sales pitch! Weak.

We love our yodle account. We have been long term users, and have had great experience with their staff members. The only negative would be after a couple days of not having any yodle calls we have called into yodle to have them change some keywords around and then it started back up again. You have to make sure you utilize all the tools they offer. Follow up on your phone calls, go into yodle and add notes to each phone conversation. Post different offers to your adversite. Link your yodle to your facebook, ask your customer for reviews on rateabiz.

We cancelled after about 8 months. They started strong but then kind of fell off after awhile. Good Luck!

I am a WA State home inspector. They painted a rosy picture about being flooded with qualified leads. Admittedly, there were responsive when it came to setting up my profile and web site. The bad news is that after $1200 and 6 months with them, I got only one "qualified" lead that never came through. The rest of the leads were junk (marketing people, mistaken entries, etc.). Michael, you can spend your money in more cost-effective ways.

I would never recommend this company, I still feel as though I wa my time and money going with them. They did nothing for me and the answers I received from them were not satisfactory. I did everything they told me to do to help with the marketing in my business, but all they did was a generic web site that I did not own and a phone number that was not mine. I would run from this company as fast as I could.

I own an insurance agency. They made lots of promises and failed to deliver. This could be an industry specific problem. My main issue is that when I cancelled they charged me for an extra month of service. I have emails and proof I wanted out and they ignored me, charged me and then would not even discuss it with me.

I've been with them for over 2 years, maybe 3, and I just love them.
Once you and Yodle have figured out your needs like keywords, website, where you stand in the internet, etc., it's all simple from that point forward; there's nothing that you have to do and in my experience, there's no need to contact Yodle customer service anymore unless you want to raise your budget and gain more exposure. I haven't had the need to call them in over a year, all the while I'm getting great hits on the internet and people are calling in thanks to their service.
