You should read the SJ blog on this

Xbids is the worst and is to be avoided at all costs no pun intended
I have never seen a telephone number on my credit card monthly statement where you could not reach some one from that business and which turned out to be a fake computer generated answer to mislead you and your credit card company. I would call it a fraudulent statement by XBIDS.
As soon as one looks at this auction site the first thing which hits your eyes is the clock showing you the exact time in hours, minutes and seconds remaining for that auction to close. Every body is not as smart as you are and find out some where that they do not mean what they show in red capital letters and can change their timimg rules in the last few seconds as many time as they want.
Are you telling me they do not mean what they actually state in capital letters on their web site before they take your $75?
Take some time and look at hundreds of complaints about XBIDS and decide for yourself if this is not scamming people by misleading and fraudulent advertisement.
As far as the investigative department of my credit card company is concerned it is already 37 days since they reversed the charges and the last time I called they told me that they have received hudreds of complaints about XBIDS including all the printed copies of complaints about XBIDS I sent them including the BBB investigation about XBIDS. The last person at my CC company told me that as the XBIDS does not answer their own telephone number when my credit card company has been calling them on that number about customer's concerns he does not see how XBIDS can charge my account again as you suggested. Anyway I will definetely post the result when it is available. Reply Reply With Quote.
