I subscribed to a 14 day trial and like many quickly was faced with the difficulty of unsubscribing and locked into a 1 year plan. They will hunt you down and make you pay with a debt collector, so the only viable push back is legal support. If this has happened to you, report it to econsumer.gov and your local authorities, the more of us who report it, the more likely they will be investigated and face criminal charges.

It took 3 months of phone calls to get the "14-day free trial" cancelled. By that time, I was receiving regular letters from German debt collection firm Tesch Inkasso, threatening legal action to recover the scam debt that arises upon accepting the "free trial". It was a scam, because the advertised resources did not actually exist. Therefore nothing was ever downloaded. But the only way to find out that the resources don't exist is to accept the "free trial", which involves providing personal details. And that's how the scam works.

Keep calling them but until you actually get a confirmation it is cancelled they will take money off your credit card. I had to cancel my card and get a new one so they could not charge any more.

As others have posted, this is a total scam. The service they provide is completely useless, and they make it impossible to cancel. I tried calling, emailing, and using their online form and have had no luck. Basically, if you are still in your 14-day trial period, go to your bank NOW and get a new card number. Tell the bank your situation and they will do it right away.

Hi
I have also signed up for the free 14 trial and cancelled before the 14 days were over. They emailed a confirmation of cancellation but stated that I will still have to pay 99.00 USD. This has not get gone off on my account. If I do go cancel my account and get a new one, will they charge me and send letters/emails?
