I haven't heard before that no one hasn't been paid before in Upwork after successful submission of work.

What is everyone here talking about, if you're all saying upwork is a scam then you all are wrong. Payment on upwork?, I've been on upwork since November 2020 and i have total control over my payments. You can receive payment via PayPal, Direct to local bank, Wire transfer and payoneer. I receive my payments directly to my local bank. I don't need to contact any customer service to make my payment for me, Upwork give you total control over how you want to be paid.

Manilyn, what lily is trying to tell you is she did not get paid. 99.8% of these things are scams and you won't get paid. Sorry to have to tell you that.

NO, they have not pay me yet. A few days ago I have reached 22,000 in my account and I have sent email to the admin to request payout, but no respond until today.
