Question:

What percentage of the sale do sellers get to keep? the faq section on the website says 75% then the next sentence says 85%

Answer:

Hi Anna! There are two ways you can sell on TrueFacet. The first is consigning your item(s) and the second is listing your item(s) on the marketplace. If you choose to consign your item(s) on average you can earn up to 75% of the sale price. With this process you simply ship us your item(s) with a pre-paid insured label we email you and we do all the work authenticating, photographing, cataloguing and pricing your item(s). Our team of authenticators will appraise your item(s) and provide a free valuation which you can approve or decline. The other option you have is listing your item(s) on our marketplace, where you keep your item(s) in your possession and upload your own images and details of the item(s) you want to list. Once the item sells you ship the item(s) to us. When you list yourself on our marketplace, you receive 85% of the sale price.

Question:

Can it be trusted to send my expensive watches to for appraisal and possible sales assistance?

Answer:

I haven't been paid for the last two items Inwas sent to them. They told me they were being sold just today and will shut down during that process but didn't say why tgeybhaven't paid me, a consignor yet. It is supposed to take 2 weeks because buyers have a 2 week window to return but they are no longer a trustworthy organization since Trupt Shah left the company approx a year ago! She was the best, obviously too good for them because it really fell apart once she left! She was the consignors voice and trouble shooter we now they've stolen our jewelry!
