Hi Bonnie! You are seeing this as the leader board updates in real time. Therefore, a player may take the lead on question 3, which you will see. Then they answer questions 4 and 5 correctly making it look as if theyre getting extra plays in. I always wait until Im sure the player has completed the round before starting my own round. This allows me to determine whether to use boosters. Hope that helps.

Hello Bonnie, thank you for reaching out! Sometimes shoppers use boosters and fast tracks to rocket themselves into the lead. However, once a shopper gains the first place position they can no longer answer trivia in that tournament. This allows other shoppers the chance to catch up and makes things competitive! Good luck in your next tournaments!
