Hi, has anyone paid with paypal and have successfully been compensated by Paypal after receiving a fake item?

While the RealReal inspects and authenticates every item we receive our main goal is to make sure customers are satisfied with their purchase. If you are concerned about any item you have received we can certainly provide you with the information you will need to return the item for a full refund.
We can always refund your method of payment once the item has been received and we do accept PayPal payments as well as issue PayPal refunds.
