I was just thinking after watching the latest 3D Clash of the Titans movie that Perseus wasn't much of a hero in this new movie relative to the original 1981 Clash of the Titans. I went out and then watched all of the early 80s movies on netflix online in that genre... then found Dragonslayer... that guy was a true "hero". Okay maybe I need to get out of the house more often. So, no... I haven't seen any recent hero movies that meet that definition.
