Hello all

I sent a business collection (my mistake to be honest sending it to this company - seeing as I run a credit control department and should have ran the credit report on this company - which I now have and they have a zero rating - which means that they are likely soon to be going under im afraid) of phones to this site - received them on 9th Aug - still no payment. Had rubbish email this morning in response - talking about 14 days and re issue.

This is not happening. If payment does not arrive next week then I will be issuing proceedings against them (do this regularly) - see how they like that.

I would just advice people to sends items in recorded delivery as you can always trace it and use it as evidence if you want to take it foward. As well as emails sent/received including selloldphone site stating ammount of payment where you log in.
In their terms and conditions it states 7 to 10 working days for cheques to arrive after 10 days i would advise you to take it further also because i have personally used other mobile phone sites and payment was accurate sent within 4 days (such as fonebank.com).
I have to admit they are not as professional as they could have been compared to other sites and thats defenetly a let down as far as response and heading on emails as well as their not so secure innacurate log in...

Well i have to say i did not have a problem and as promised I have to give you a good review, its a shame your being knocked for paying people very high prices for there old phones whilst also helping the environment many thanks sell old phone

I have now recieved the money for the phone I sold 5 weeks ago. All il say is keep sending them emails. I bothered them all the time. This company is pathetic! The police should close it down! They are cons! I sold my 200 pound phone for 68 :/ I would never do his again. Just keep emailing, get very grumpy, I told them I'd has enough and to send my phone back and they eventually replied.

Do not use them, I wish I'd checked this website before I sent my LG Viewty off (for the promised price of £29) and received a cheque 3 weeks later (not '7 days guarunteed' as stated) for £17 because the 'charger and stylus' was not included. I did check the terms and conditions, and in there deeply it does mention this, but surely this should be stated on the order form?
If the order form states "£29 for an LG viewty" with no mention of charger or stylus, then this is what I should receive. I keep emailing them, I'm not going to give in (neither should anyone else).

There is now a number on the website - 01915362375. They never pick up, but if anything will annoy them.

I also think everyone should report this website through http://www.ripofftipoff.net/notify.htm as this has upset so many people. (if we all do this, there should be more chance of something being done).

We sold a £300 phone on there for £110 no money received as yet but still hopeful cant he police look into this con
