Question:

I understand and agree, as it appears more to be an issue of neglect and bad customers-service, then con-artists and subterfuge. There might be some good news; Their president stated I were credited back on 3/7/11. So, order of 5th December 2010, credited back on 7th of March 2011, no explanation provided (at all), and only a response after I threatened to take further steps, after repeated emails. This is truly the first bad experience I ever had with any US-based company, and we do a lot of business with US-based companies. I will now contact our finance department and the credit-card company to verify. I will then inform them and this thread here, for the records. And then finally close this behind me as an experience richer and illusion poorer.

Answer:
I think when you report to the IC3 or FTC, there isn't immediate action on the business - as in, they're not there to resolve your personal issue. I think it just puts up a flag, and if there are more customers who speak up about the same website, they investigate into things... But I understand your perspective. If you find a better place, let us know!
