Your question is not very clear but if your certificate is "unused" I assume that means it hasn't been used yet and it is available for you to use. Be sure to check for other possible restrictions and minimum purchases.

You could try calling restaurant.com at (800) 979-8985, but good luck with that.

The response from Joel B. Is on point.

Lawrence, I take exception to you assumption. I have no problem reading restrictions, thank you. The problem is restaurants no longer accepting certificates, and restaurant.com not keeping up and notifying customers. The problem is a misrepresentation of restaurants. The problem with poor customer service is that all concerns cannot be addressed on the site. There is a phone number and I have called and I have spoken to the company. There are many problems with with company - the least of which is restrictions.

They should be good. Just ask your waiter to make sure they take the certificates. I have not had any issues with the restaurants not accepting them

If your certificate is unused and there is no restriction on it (some certificates are not good on certain days such as Saturday. The restriction is written on the certificate). Also depending on the value of the certificate there is a minimum purchase requirement, the higher the value the higher the minimum purchase). Overall Restaurant.com is a very good value. I have been using the web site for years. Most negative comments come from customers that do not understand the restrictions (the ones I mentioned above). Also this web site is completely automated. There is no Customer Service, no phone number for help, and they almost never reply to e-mails. So if you do have a problem and the question is not answered in their list of canned question you are out of luck.
