I just received a letter from Reader's Digest, 784 Kings Drive, New York, NY 10210 which informs me that I have won $1,413,000.00 USD. However, the number I am to call is 1-601-401-6217 which appears to be a Vancouver, BC cell phone number. I am double checking with you that this is a scam before I hand this letter over to the police. I sincerely appreciate your assistance with this concern.

Question:

I rec'd a letter a few days ago, from readers digest, informing me that I had won $972,000. There is a telephone number that I am supposed to call, they also supplied a claim number, so that the award will automatically be transferred to me after I contact the agent to validate my cash prize. On the "specimen" cheque the address for Readers Digest is: 784 Kings Drive, New York, NY 10210

Answer:
I think I 'won' more than you! Heh. I will be turning my letter into the police for their action.
