The answer MARY H just gave is exactly correct, it is important to read up and learn if you want to win over and over again. Your money is to purchase bids only when you win you still have to pay the winning price..

Hi George! The very best thing I can advise before you get started, is to review the Video and Guidelines at QuiBids 101. This will clearly explain how things work, the major pitfalls to avoid, and how to be successful. This is a Pay to Participate Auction Site, so you start by signing up, choosing your screen name and password, and then purchasing $60 worth of bids, which give you 100 bids. Each bid you apply in an auction will raise the auction price of the item by 1 penny. When the clock runs out, whoever has the last bid wins the item. There is free shipping on everything, which is nice. After you join, you will earn "Badges" for your participation, which nets you free "voucher" bids. Also, there are daily sweepstakes to win 50 free bids, both on Facebook and Twitter. There are other ways to win Gameplays and free bids. Really it is fun. During the three years I've been a member, I've saved many thousands of dollars, and now do all my gift shopping (Christmas, Birthdays, etc.) on QuiBids. I seldom go to the Mall anymore; it is so much easier and cheaper to shop on QuiBids. I hope this information helps you in your decision, and Best of Luck if you do join! Be sure to visit the QuiBids Facebook page, as that is where you will see the free bids announced, winners of the gameplays, etc. And start out small with something you can really use, like a $10 or $15 gift card for a store you like. That way if you lose the auction, you can still apply your Real Bids towards the "Buy it Now" price and not lose any money. Any more questions? Just post them on the QuiBids facebook page and the Community will love to help you! Best of Luck! http://www.quibids.com/en/quibids101/

No they just take your $60 dollars and you can bid on things. Good luck.

Yes, you buy $60 worth of bids, and every time you place a bid, it comes out of your purchased bids total. So even if you only ever bid on one item, but you bid many times, you could potentially blow the whole $60 for that one auction, and probably not win it.
