As a QuiBids customer for over 4 years, I can easily answer your question. Every auction has a brand and on the item only screen it will have a description of the item(s) as well. If you win the auction, it will be shipped to you free of charge. When it arrives compare what arrives to the description from the auction (go back to your account auction wins). I have never received anything but the best quality items, the same models as listed on an auction and the same pieces. Quibids is not only a BBB rated company, they are HONEST. I don't know who Robb S. Is, but he sounds like someone who didn't win auctions. If you decide to join, please watch auctions or items you might want to get a feel for how it really works. Also, check out different times of day to see the difference in how prices run in an auction. It does vary. You can still get items for a few pennies, if you are lucky, but don't think it is that way on every auction. I have won thousands of dollars of items on Quibids and put it as #1. Check out the retail price they show for each item. It is also honest. I say this because DealDash has retail prices that are way higher than actual. I have called them on it many times and rarely use their site anymore.

Honestly? Anything online is 'caveat emptor', buyer beware. You just have to "trust" QuiBids to ensure the item is real and not some knock-off.
Other than that, I have no idea. I no longer deal with QiBids.
