One of the rewiews stated the was a problem related to opening Port 80. Has this issue been solved?

There are no problems with PfConfig opening port 80, but some routers and some ISP's restrict it. In my experience most people will have no problems at all, but it will be determined by your hardware and ISP, not limited by PfConfig.
