I rescued a dog from Maryland and I live in RI. The rescuer did not tell me (although she seemed to know) that the dog did not like to travel in cars and I do alot of car travel with my dogs. She also did not disclose that the dog was not a Miniature Poodle but a Moyen poodle which is a larger dog. I am actually afraid of the dog's power. Had I know the size of the dog I would not have adopted it.

When I initially let the rescuer know of the problems she stated that she would keep half of my reacue fee of $500 for an 8 yr. Old dog. In view of that I decided to try to make it work and keep the dog. I find several days later my problems are increasing. I do not think I can keep the dog and have explored a poodle rescue group. I notice some rescuers offer a 2 week trial period. I think that is smart. Do I have any recourse against this rescuer to request most of my money back?
