Answer:
Because they are not remotely safe. Their answer to detected fraud is to freeze the card and keep the balance! Yes - you read that right! They stop thieves from getting your money by keeping it for themselves. So the net effect is the same to you the paying customer. Avoid them at all costs.

I want to buy a Paysafecard in Seattle. I went to the "find sales outlet" page https://www.paysafecard.com/en-us/buy/find-sales-outlets/ I put in my address and have so far tried calling 8 different places listed - all of which seem to have never even *heard* of Paysafecard, let alone carry it. Can you please tell me stores in Seattle that carry them for sure?
