If I understand correctly it looks like they have listing fee $10 per item, kind of inventory/photography service charges $1000 or DIY for $300, plus 30% on sold items to seller, 10 % to buyer and sales tax. So the bid price cannot be high. On evil bay you don't pay tax and commission if you are a buyer unless you buy from a store in the same jurisdiction not from a private seller. So if you are in BC, you pay commission and pst, gst so the final price would be the winning bid x 1.1 x1.12 which is extra 23.2% more than most ebay auctions. So the bid would be lower than other online auctions I think. If my math is messed up please somebody correct me. It is a great business model for Maxsold but not the sellers. Thx.
