I was thinking about getting this...after reading the reviews & rating they are not favorable. How do you explain the bad reviews?

As I wrote in my review, the freeware version deleted an important file from my PaintShop Pro program. My worry about downloading and using Malwarebytes is that it might inadvertently remove a file critical to my operating system.

I think the program may work well for some, but it may not be the best for all environments. It was a problem for me. After paying for it and running it once I did a search and could no longer find the executable and I am still getting a hijacked browser, which is what I wanted it to clear. It may not be a well-tested program for all environments.

The program works fine....my computer may be the problem, or the fact I have another protection and they don't work together.
