So sorry, Risa. Just FYI there are NO discount Denali jackets, they don't exist. North Face doesn't discount this item anywhere, ever. The jacket is far and away the best seller in its class and is constantly in demand at full price, so there's never any need to discount it. If any genuine reseller is charging less than full retail, they're shooting themselves in the foot because they could easily get full price anytime. And they'll be getting an irritated phone call from the marketing people at North Face, too, which is something a genuine dealer won't want. So, all this stuff is going to be fake, and unsurprisingly TNF wants to reassure everyone that the quality of the fakes is pretty poor. I haven't seen one for myself, but knowing how hit-and-miss the quality of fakes in general is, I wouldn't be surprised if they were nothing like the real thing. Oddly this topic came up only a week or so ago in a video made by Fox TV, and re-promoted by SiteJabber because it was discussing SJ and fakes and, coincidentally, fake Denali jackets. I honestly wish I could tell you that reporting these people to authorities - which as Tran says, is something you can and should do - would help you. But honestly, you're better at getting the message out than they are. You've probably warned hundreds of people already, just by posting here, and the more people you tell, especially friends who trust you, the more people you'll save. What do they say? Don't get mad, get even. Get the word out and help stop more people from giving their money to the fakers. It's the best way to put them out of business, I reckon.
