If you retired from a company from a major position because you were just unhappy and had been there for over 20 years, how do you explain why you left without being negative when it seems that you were at the top of your game?

Hi Carolyn,
Thanks so much for your note. This is something we’d be happy to discuss with you further via email as part of the program. The answer depends on how long ago you left, what happened prior to your departure and what you have done since your departure, your relationships with your past co-workers, and what you plan to do next. One answer might be that you left because your mission there was accomplished - you achieved the goals you set out. Hope that helps.
