Has anyone tried House of Toners for HP 901 possibly in an Officejet 4500? How were they? Do they have the capability of having the ink levels read? Thanks!

Just inserted new cartridge. Printer wont recognize ink level. Warning light on! Help
Tried all suggested solutions for error message "Print cartridge miss or not detected" Can scan/print/fax from software but not printer.
My first of 2 PG- 240XL Black Ink Cart. worked for 5 pages and will not function any more. Thomas Anderson Order # 421755 will not work anymore. When installed it showed a low ink level. .
