I just booked a room at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans for 2 nights at 71.00! I booked 2 weeks in advance. I have read reviews saying that the Hotel will tell me that they a full upon arrival due to my third party booking at lower rate. I'm honestly a bit nervous. I dont want to get to the hotel and they tell me its over booked even though I paid 2 weeks in advance.

The hotel must honor your booking and you are more than entitled to that room upon your arrival. Be sure to have BOTH the hotwire confirmation number as well as the hotel confirmation number. Print out the email confirmation you received from hotwire and take it with you to present to the hotel upon checking in. Both of those confirmation numbers should be stated on your confirmation email from hotwire or the third party booking company. Hope you have a great time in New Orleans!

Phone the hotel to confirm your booking at the rate you paid. Make sure you get the name of the person you talk to and maybe have him send you an E Mail confirmation.

Yes, everyone has given you correct information, my problem with hotwire was that i had paid HOTWIRE. But as I had paid them, they as the booking agent left me out there by myself without notifying me. I never flew on not one of the original booked flights and when I would call Hotwire, we cant help you you have to go to the airlines. Hotels are more accomidating, as Ted suggested call the Hotel
