Today, i try to book a room in the hotel from getaroom. but at the last step, i pressed "book". the system showed the book is unsuccessful owing to some problems and indicates me to try to book again. but the same time, my credit card company inform me that my credit card has been charged and authorized number is 993180. now i don't know whether gataroom really charges the money? in addition, if i cancel a room, how long the charge will refund to my credit card?

Will they actually refund your money if you cancel your reservation? i cancelled mine 30 minutes after making the reservation b/c of $75 fees!

No they claim the hotel policy is non refundable even the hotel states clearly they do within 24 hours of the actual check in date

Since most reviews are too scary, would be it possible that i can also get the confirmation from the hotel regarding my booking? the confirmation number is r638737887. besides, i also want to ensure that the room is non smoking with 2 twin beds. thanks!

Can you give me a european telephone number to contact you

I didn't have a European #. Whenever I have doubt, its the 1800# of getaroom that I rang and most of the people that I spoke to on the other end were very helpful. After finalising my booking through getaroom and got the confirmation or receipt # from getaroom, I have allowed at least 48 hours grace period and rang the hotel # direct to ensure that my booking with that hotel, via getaroom was legit and as I mentioned, I never had any problem of all the 10 hotels I booked through them. The best part was after hour trip, I sent back the coupon discount and got 10% refund (if my booking was more than $400)... My advice is to read all the print and if in doubt, ring the getaroom contact number.
