I used a preferred Freelancer and yet this guy disappeared now for days (site was supposed to be launched 2 days ago). When talking to the support, they state that I should choose carefully. My question is, how can they tell me that when this guy is preferred and has 5 stars? I can see he is online, yet he does not take my messages. He has been paid already as that is his requirement.

I used a preferred freelancer too and had problems. Stay away fro freelancer. They have the worlds worst support. Ive been using odesk. They have telephone support. Freelancer support has been taking up to 2 weeks to get back to me. Its been months now and Im over $900 dollars out of pocket with zero work done. With odesk they have a great way to search for contractors that are highly targeted to your exact requirements. Freelancers has 1000s of bad reviews for a reason. Im still fighting to get my money back. Good luck

The support is intended for backing up freelancer.com not you. At least that s what i see so far. I started with 0$ balance and after months it is -58$. They took money from my account as they wish without asking informing or doing nothing. Finally after many bad reviews they replied my ticket and what they say is that they give me more time to cover my negative balance. I guess they have a big fun of us behind the curtains.
