Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from them
These are bunch of scambags

Daylight robbery, no active customer service, only when u start giving them bad reviews they will finally answer to you but still the kind of answers that don't help you get paid or get serviced.

What they do best is playing innocent and acting like their support is always there for you.

It's all about their business model - enticing you in and then squeezing you to buy services they used to offer for free. I've not done any work through Freelancer in a couple of years. Not my favourite place.

Never stayed long enough to find out. I discovered they are scammers so I dumped my membership after they upgraded me without permission and turned them into the US embassy in Canberra for fraud. Plus my bank and paypal too. I wouldn't waste my time with them.

Why would anyone work with a verified scam operation? 255 characters or words... it is irrelevant when dealings with shady operations.

No this is not true this is limited by employer. I have seen some where 1500 characters some where 255.

It was again, a surprise for us. Some projects has 255 characters and some has 1500 characters.As usual freelancer wont send us any email of any new updates to the website.

I noticed this too yesterday. It's annoying. I thought it had something to do with membership upgrades but I guess not. Makes my bidding sounds so incomplete.
