There are so many different regulatory organizations at the moment, and sometimes the difference in their reliability is enormous. One regulator's license may cost as much as a brand-new Lamborghini, while another may sell its license for the price of paper. From a trader's point of view, regulators can be divided into the most reliable, average and almost useless.
ForexTB is operated by Forex TB Limited, a Cyprus Investment Firm, authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission with CIF. CySEC in Cyprus has simpler rules than the CFTC and the FCA, but the level of confidence is also high - the standards of the European Union. So the broker is regulated all right.
