How do i cancel membership?

Answer:

I can no longer log in but from memory you need to log in to your account, then click on Acccount top right and then click on one of the 6 or so options that drop down, possibly Subscription. It will open up and show you Recurring Payment with a Yes or a tick already in the box. Click on the Yes/tick and this will cancel the recurring payment. They will make you answer a few more questions just to make it hard for you, and will tell you what you will be missing, before the cancellation is complete, but don't let them wear you down! Answer:

I just asked the same question but then figured it out. Go to My account, then Membership Details. Where it says "Auto Renew?" with a little box saying "Yes", don't worry it will not renew if you click on it (as I was). It will give you the option then to cancel. Sheesh, talk about counterintuitive.

I had a problem similar to the above. i signed up and found continued auto payments. i assumed i had made an oversight but now i am not so sure. i now think they may have altered my instructions as normally i am very carefull about such matters. they continue to notify me of possible leads that are never correct. caveat emptor are they reputable? what is their standing with professional genealogists?
