Has anyone bought something from this site?

With ANY OEM software site you really need to be careful. Simply email adobe and ask them if they are an authorized reseller of their software and if they say NO, then you are likely going to lose your money and never receive a legit code to activate your software through the manufacturer... same holds true for their MS products.

I only purchased from them recently. Everything came out clear with Microsoft.

I hate to say it but they seem to be legitimate - even if they don't look like they ought to be. Valid with the BBB and legitimate McAffee and so on, genuine Microsoft partner site too. I still get a bad feeling but what can I say? They pass the tests so far.

Todd is correct all the same, it does no harm at all to check with the original manufacturer of anything before buying, and if there's no satisfactory response, ask the reseller if they have testimonials from other customers that may be validated. The web is awash with pirated software.

Yes, I have and it has gone badly. The intial key worked for Office 2010 pro. I had to reload and reactivate and thats when the problem arose. Microsoft activation failed due to invalid key. I contact microsoft and they stated the key was invalid. Contacted Evaluesoftware and they said they would have to supply a new key. My question was what happened to the old key? Why was a new one required? Then came the. It will take a few days to get you the new key. What? Of course the few days have come and gone with no responses to my e-mails. So I have opened a complaint with the BBB and turned the situation over to the credit card company and contacted Microsoft for fraulant software distribution.

I just used evaluesoftware and expected an Adobe Acrobat X download within "2-4" hours per their e-mail to me. I soon receieved another e-mail that said they were out of stock for licenses and that it would be 5 days before I would be able to download. I read all of the comments on this site and called them immediately to get a refund but was surprised when they gave me a serial number allowing me to change my trial version (previosuly dowloaded from Adobe) to a full working version. The customer service rep did say they were out but she just happened to have an extra copy. I entered the serial number and it worked. So, other than the e-mail suggesting delays, I was able to purchase the software at a significant savings and get a serial number the same day. Now, whether this serial number is one that has several licenses attached to it or not, i do not know but I do have my software and it works. Thanks to all who commenetd on this thread. By calling I suspect I may have averted a problem similar to others.
