I saw some videos on youtube about the hadoop and mapreduce, i found that they are recorded videos so whats the diff btw video based and online train?

Flexibility: You can learn at your own pace, rewind or skip parts.
Interaction: No direct interaction with the instructor.
Support: Usually limited to discussion forums or comments.

Online training is taken by trainer directly at fix time. Video based course just provides you material and videos to do self learning.
