Foolish decision. Made by spouse from design/looks without considering where they are made or if the product held enough beans to actually make 12 good cups of coffee.

Cuisinart IMO is synonymous with quality. I like having chic and upscale things around me... even in the kitchen. Cuisinart just has more cache than some knock-off brand...
