Attendance is more important to the school keeping it's Charter, than making sure a student is truly on track academically. The School has no communication skills, which is why it probably attracts lazy teachers.

On track isn't for the grades, it's for attendance. If you're on track, you're logging enough attendance hours and you're "on track" to finish high school with the required hours. (900-990) If you start to log less hours, you get off "on track" and get on "alarm status", if you go beyond that and are absent for 2+ months for example you're accused of truancy and you're kicked out.
