Hi Dale S - Thanks for your response. It took me a while to figure out on my own, but after a bit of searching I did come up with an answer. You'll note my request was over a year ago.

Go into your twitter account - click your top right icon - click 'settings and privacy' - on left 'apps' - find commun.it and revoke it's access.
