Today, I'm seeing Aflac creeping willfully over the pages I select. In your "numbered"- themed articles (such as oh, IDK - a specious & facetious example would be "50 cartoon characters caught buggering bears" will do, I suppose) The is ALWAYS a number of ads with a two-or-three part theme on the page of what is SUPPOSED to be a "slide-show", forcing the reader to decide between (without indication of what IS the proper choice) any of two, three, or FOUR different progression-markers, ads for OTHER articles in your website - and links to others - FREQUENTLY interrupt the reading experience, and your pages load abysmally slowly when a reader DOES, in fact make the proper choice, turning what SHOULD, by rights, be a five-minute enjoyment into an hour (or longer) -long CHORE. Further, although my given example (50 cartoon characters caught buggering bears) is, in fact, fictitious, it would be an improvement in both taste and style over the content being currently offered. There ARE entertaining stories about celebrities, which do NOT involve their personal quest for the status when it is not earned. Hugh Jackman has done things worth celebrating. So has Donald Trump. The Kardashians, Honey Poo-poo, the Duggar family, and Paris AND Perez Hilton have NOT. It is not, after all, an accomplishment to have a parent married to a celebrity, to have a fame-obsessed mother who feeds you too many calories, to be part of a family who can't stop breeding with everything that twitches, nor to be the daughter of a magnate, or the interviewer of celebrities.
Oh, and to give a "real" example, if I had been given the assignment of writing 10 things about Jurassic Park, I probably could've written a MUCH more fascinating article, since I've actually READ the book AND seen the movie.
I doubt you'll pay much attention to what I've written, but thanks for pretending to be interested in my point of view.
