Whaaaaaa? I need some major clarification. Is it your experience that caregivers with no paid subscriptions are applying for job postings that are INVISIBLE to the potential employer? So there's no notification by Care.com to the unpaid subscriber caregiver that they are literally BLOCKED from communicating with people needing services? THAT IS CRAZY RIDICULOUS if this site operates like this and it's impossible to KNOW what information, IF ANY, is actually filtering through to the proper recipient?! I am disgusted if this company knowingly allows unpaid subscribers to spend hours writing carefully, well crafted emails following up on applications sent to potential employers and using blocking filters without informing them that the emails are not accessible?!?! Furthermore, there's no receipt or confirmation that applications submitted by unpaid subscribers are ever actually even routed to the proper recipients? I need confirmation of the company's email subscription policies and am feeling really foolish.

Yes families can view your profile without upgrading as well as contact you. The families need to upgrade to be able to get contact information from a caregiver. Caregivers can apply to as many ads as they choose without upgrading... the basic ad the caregiver has will be far down on this list but applying to ads makes the connections as long as the ad she is applying to has an upgraded account. That is why there is so many complaints about fake ads. The ads are not fake they parents have not paid to upgrade so there for can not see the the caregivers phone # that was forwarded with her application it will look like this xxx-xxx-xxxx... caregiver can spell out the numbers to get this "free" info across the boards but most parents will look at it like its weird and ignore the application not realizing the caregiver is trying to help them.

Yes, but you'll be so far down on the profile listing it's probably a waste of time. Priority is given to those who spend more money with them and buy all the bells and whistles. And it's still a waste of money. They are cons and I cannot in good faith refer anyone to them.

You must now pay a subscription in order to view emails from potential employers. I am unaware if your profile is still viewable or not. I hope my answer helped you.
