Care.com is a real company that is run by money hungry greedy CEOS that have no interest whatsoever about customer service, children or anyones safety. This is the biggest scam since Enron. Background checks are mostly wrong and babysitters are not vetted. Stay away!

All I can say is I believe you. There is something extremely fishy about this company. It seems they do not want to deal with anything and they always reply in boilerplate forms, I don't know if it's all Fake or if it's really a company. It's extremely unprofessional in the way that when you are setting up your profile, if you have any issues with photos or whatever they just don't want to deal with you anymore and they reject you. When you set up a profile with them they are extremely strict on wording and photos so much to the point of I felt like I couldn't even be myself. So who knows what kind of people they have for services because they are all forced to present themselves all in the same manner.
