Why do booksi take your money first before you know if you can book a time that suits your travel times

I called the hotel and they told me i had been scammed that they did not do business with you so i want my money back

Hi Susan, Thank you for reaching out to the Booksi Support Team. We understand the confusion, regarding contacting the hotel directly. We must let you know our contracts are generally made directly with the groups that own several hotels. Due to the pricing structure not being available to the general public, our bookings are normally handled by specialist booking departments within each group. When making a booking with Booksi, we process bookings through these departments. Once a booking has been made, and you have received the confirmation of the requested dates directly from the hotel, your booking will then be in their system, and they will be able to confirm the booking even when calling the front reception desk. Until you have received the CONFIRMATION of your dated booking, the reception/front desk of each hotel will not be made aware of your reservation. We can assure you that this process will guarantee the cheapest rates and the absolute best customer service. Have in mind, that to CONFIRM your booking you will need to call our reservation team once you booked your desired dates and call them through the number that you received in the confirmation booking email. We hope this clarifies things for you but please do reply back if you require any further assistance.
