Hi Scott, The old saying "If it too good to be true it probably is!" These words hold true for this organization! Think of it like a home based business for these women! I am positive that a few are also operating from a call center as well! I would really like to compare this site and its' affiliates to a UK or Nigerian money scam! "You won the email Lottery!" Send us $500 for processing for winnings and we will send you a cashiers check for $12 Million! You do and you never hear from them again! That statement holds true for the majority of these profiled women! The other hard truth is, the vast majority of these Colombian women want your money and nothing more! As soon as the money runs out, they move on to the next Guy! Just a plain Cold Hard FACT! I have been to Colombia, even with the current turmoil of the nation. Many would NOT return a single chat session request once I informed them I was in country! I had better results with a few ladies in major cities Bogata, Cali and Medellin. However, even then many and I do mean many ladies flaked at the last minute! What irritated me most, I could only coordinate meetings through the amolatina chat room! None, were willing to share a phone number, email or Skype! Obviously, this equates to compensation and scam! Many but One in particular, Leedy though beautiful, alleges she is in her last year attending medical school in Huila. Personally, understanding the demands of medical education in Colombia and the associated mandatory clinical time, she would and could not be available 24/7. And yet, her profile remains continually available for Live Chat! She will also answer at all hours as well! Claims she cannot sleep! She texts to so many guys on line, that when you ask her a question, her posture is an offensive stance claiming that you don't remember what she told you earlier! Hilarious! I have had better and true success with making friends and meeting women using ColombianCupid! These ladies have even helped me with my Spanish grammar! Amolatina is not worth the hassle or the cost!

Yes, all the women on the site are a scam. Go to "ColombiaCupid.com" it is about $30 a month and you can talk to all the women you want. I met one and already been to Colombia to see her.

Hi Scott,

AmoLatina is a scam. I was suspicious for the reasons mentioned in my review. It was not possible to open a female account when I attempted, so I'm curious where the women come from. Other men and I have noticed that the "girls" don't seem to remember anything you tell them. If their favorite ice cream is chocolate on time, it takes them 3 minutes to remember that the next time (while they're reading the previous conversation). I believe these are call center agents trained to extract your money, but I'm willing to bet you will never meet a girl on AmoLatina.

I use LatinAmericanCupid.com, and I have met several girls on trips to Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica. I dated a Colombian for almost 2 years. The process is inefficient, but honest.

Best of luck.

Quick summary of Amolatina and it's sister sites, the women are employed and contracted by the company for ten percent of what they make in chat videos, letters. Most of the women if they are the one behind the picture are gone most of the time, they have tranlator(s) sit in and talk to men. That's why i have and others will tell you sometimes they have no idea what you are talking about, it's because you were talking to someone else or many others ok? Further many of the pictures have been bought and being used by the site knowing the real woman is not behind it. They make you pay for everything and give you nothing in return but an illusion. It's an elaborate lucrative scam they got going on plain and simple.

AmoLatina is one of the best public relations/sales money making pitches going. Though I don't believe all the women are fraudulent, it is very clear to me that the majority are paid employees of the various modeling and 'front' agencies for AmoLatina scattered around South America, Central America and the islands, not to forget Spain and Russia and on and on.
It lures us in with the youth and loveliness of the women, the pure sex appeal seasoned with interesting profiles. As I mentioned, some are real, mostly the ladies that have one or two children. Having visited several South American countries, these are patriarchal societies so women are paid very little, have little power, no child support and in many cases live week to week in small apartments. And it is not uncommon at all to see a very young woman, in her 20's with a much older man, whether he is Colombian, Brazilian or foreign. So if you lost money, at least you can know that if might have helped some low income women and their families.
Now, my horror story with AmoLatina. When I first joined, I chatted with a lady for a few weeks. She didn't want to meet because it was 'too dangerous' for me to visit her. (Colombia is actually quite safe if you use common sense.) Then through an alternative anti-AmoLatina site, I was given the link to a website which solicits for women to become AmoLatina ladies. The link showed photos of women receiving prizes (I-Phones and other pricey prizes) for the most 'chat' minutes in a week. And there she was! The lady I had been chatting with won 'chat lady of the week'! I complained to AmoLatina and at first they denied it. Then I sent them the link. They quickly refunded/replaced my credits and said she was no longer one of the 'ladies'. But about two weeks later, there she was again with her hair a different color and new photos and profile. So it is clear that AmoLatina 'washes their hands' of what the individual agencies do in their city. The agency in Brazil and in Villavicencio, Medellin and Bogota in Colombia are among the worst for hiring models or paid employees to chat for money.
Many of the negative things other men have stated are likely true. But there likely have been some legitimate romances started. More likely, you've had some fun looking, chatting and imagining... just consider it part of your recreation budget.
If you really want to meet Latin women, learn some Spanish and travel to the countries. Women, even attractive ones, given a little polite and respectful conversation (bring her some flowers on the street, send a drink to her table) are happy to share their name and number. They are lovely, cheerful and mostly loyal.
If you don't get an inkling of an idea that this is a suspicious company when the help center is based in Moscow and the company is registered in Seychelles' island... then, enjoy the trip. It is hard not to look.

Amo Latina is a Fraud and I can confirm it´s not a dating site! It´s an embezzlement site cos' You try to date somebody and never get a true response of the ladies! When They Call You, They notice that the phrases are always repetitives!

I can prove You that dating site is a total scam and that models can be prostitutes or agents from this dating site!

Observe the profile with ID: 1184932. She Calls herself: Laura Melisa! But if You search on google for Laura Paladines Naked, You can see the photos of a Naked Model the posed on Colombian Playboy Magazine! She is the same person as Laura Melisa is! I have no doubt that Laura Melisa and Laura Paladines is the same person!

Check about it yourselves!

Friends, Guys, It´s an Advice for You! Get out of Amolatina, Anastasia date, Arabian date and Asia date cos' You will be scammed! Search others safety dating sites that don´t charging by credit but by tuition!

This next photo is from AmoLatina: http :// www.amolatina. Com/profile-latin-lady-model-laura%20melisa-1184932. Htm

This photo is from Colombian Playboy Magazine that prove She is a Model and not a cosmetologist as She said in AmoLatina Dating site: http://your-daily-girl.com/galleries/3/laura-paladines/laura-paladines-5.jpg

Forget it and You can save You Money and your own life!

My answer is yes. I feel strongly that many women are paid to up the juice of revenue for the firm... why would 22 year old women go after 60 year old men...? They are not all employees but from conversations I've had with the women they pay nothing for services while men pay full freight... of course AmoLatina denies all. There are legit women on site as well, of all ages...

This site is all about making money, for the amolatina and the girls. I was able to exchange numbers with a few of the ladies and thats when i realized it was all a big scam. I was chatting with a green eye babes from villavicencio who need financial assistance i decided to help her but the catch was she lost her identification so send it to her friend, this was a big red flag so i said no. We continued talking for a few more week and my girl said she has a confession to make. I said tell me i love you nothing would change that. So she said my name is not Paola and the photos you see is a paid model who sell the photo for a fee. I told the lady i did not believe her so she sent me a photo of her at a two screen pc with the profile of my paola and another 4 girls all talking to multiple men. Her work days were on average of 16 hours a day. Her salary is $200 a week and cents on the dollar for time on line chatting. The truth came out she i showed her my reservation to visit her. I made reservation but never bought the tickets. The lady gave her name as neidy we still talk she appear to be nice but its her job to talk to men while pretending to be five other young sexy girls.

I believe some women though few are sincere. However all make money for letters and chat time. I lost several hundred dollars getting sucked up into that. It is very difficult to get a lady to accept a phone call. Even the more legitimate sites like the Cupid sites are loaded with scammers. Avoid Amolatina at all costs.
