I've ordered form here many times a mever had an issue until recently. While I know this was their problem to begin with. I can't be more than impressed with their rapid responses from customer service. A book I ordered didn't come in and they covered all costs to get it to me, on an order than got free shipping due to a promo. They responded quickly and sorted out the problem to no extra cost to me, also offering a refund. Excellent experience with them. Will continue to order from here.
I selected 4 more books than I found in my cart. There are too few points for dollars It takes a ridiculous amount of time to leave your warehouse even before slow, ailing

I only received 4 books out of 15 books ordered. I never received the remaining 11 books since they were returned by USPS. I'm still awaiting a refund for the books as well. I really wanted the rest of my order. I'm not sure if I want to order them again as this was my first order. My experience wasn't great plus I had to contact customer service to check the status. The tracking number stopped working. The books I did received are in great shape.
My tracking stopped working and I contacted customer service. I was advised it was at USPS and I should contact to get the package. I later received a response my package had been returned by USPS. I did not get a reason why my order was returned. Responses were quicker than the posted time (got all responses in less than 90 minutes included the ticket being closed) .
Affordable and large selection.
The items have been on my wish list. Plus, I have been wanting to read more from black authors.
I love getting hardcover books at a very good price/discount, but each book had some pages crimped/folded and one of the dust jackets were ripped

You are my go-to store for all of my crossword puzzle book buys. Since I don't keep them after they're completed, there's no reason to be worried about a few scuff marks or dents. I would never pay full price.
Sadly, I stumbled onto your site and decided to try to buy a book from an unknown vendor. Still not sure this is a real website and unsure if I have just been robbed. Have not yet had the opportunity to reach out to the Internet world to ask if this site is BS or an actual operating business. I spent nearly $40 purchasing a book for which this company was quick to take my money, but received nothing in return. Not only did I not receive my product, this company chose to fail to issue a refund for whatever may have gone wrong. Nobody has reached out to me for explanation or solution.
Found it online. Feel stupid for trusting it. Hope they change that before this ordeal is over.

Shipping took extremely long. Some books were for a baby shower- I ordered almost 2 weeks in advance and still didn't arrive in time!

I buy A LOT of books and bookoutlet.com has been my go to website for this. (I have a serious case of Tsundoku) In any case, for the last year, they have been sending the books by putting them in a box without any space fillers. Because of that reason, you will receive the books with crinkled corners, squished edges etc, because they will be all jumbled during the shipment. They are in readable conditions, but they will arrive looking like they have been used already. I like their pricing and their selections, but the shipping is a big let down. So it's your choice.

I will definitely be ordering again. I liked the variety and the price of the books. I didn't love that all of them seemed to have a black or red marker swipe on the top or bottom of the pages. I didn't see that in any information on the website. I also didn't love the time it took to get my order after it was placed. But I'll allow for more time in the future if I'm ordering for a specific occasion.
My family loves reading and it is hard to be able to afford new books - especially hardcovers. This was a nice option and I found books that everyone in my family would like.
I'm a library assistant in a junior high, so I try to choose books in the middle grade/YA range so I can recommend books to students. My kids are very into graphic novels lately and I've found some really great ones that they hadn't read.
I've ordered from Book Outlet twice. Both times I ordered adult and children's books. Everything was exactly as described for their bargain priced books. I did not order any scratch and dent books, because I wanted them in good condition. I was very satisfied with both my purchases, and will definitely order again!
Let me start by saying this, I had a feeling it was too good to be true. I ordered 12 books during a sale and waited over a month for my shipment to arrive. Well when I opened my order only 1 of the 12 books was in the box and another random book I didn't even order. So I proceeded to contact customer service and they did apologize and claimed to have refunded me but I've yet to see that refund.

Great deal and fast shipping! Exactly what I was looking for! A coworker who is gluten intolerant received an air fryer for Christmas. I was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance as well and had already been using an air fryer. I can tell you my coworker could not maintain her excitement when I gave it to her. We're both looking forward to making these incredible recipes in our air fryers!
It was recommended on Rakuten but I’ll definitely continue to use them for other purchases.
As explained above, I needed some recipes for my air fryer that are gluten free.
I usually am not very happy with the state the books arrive in when I order from Book Outlet, but this time around all my books arrived in good condition. One paperback was a little bent but not terribly. Whoever packed my box seemed to do it with care and I really appreciate that.

Amazing prices on books that are in great condition. I made 3 seperate orders within one week because there was just so much too choose from! Sadly one never came, it was lost, which is not their fault. And I was offered a refund or a fulfillment immediately. Great customer service!
My last order never came and the tracking info said it had been in one place for a good week or 2. They immediately offered a refund or fullfilment, my choice.

The boxes you use for shipping do not hold up well. I often receive boxes that range from partially open to completely obliterated and then taped back together by the postal service before delivery. The "tear here" strip down the center of the box rarely works. I love the products, just not the packaging.
I have had books that were lost in shipping or not included in an order. Book Outlet was quick to resend any available books and issue refunds for for unavailable books.
To stretch the library's budget as far as I can.
I am able to find affordable new and replacement books for our library.

Building your personal library is much more affordable, with book outlet. They have a pretty good selection of African American Authors that are easy to locate.

The book pictured was not the book edition we received. My daughter needed a particular edition for a college course, and even though other sellers were cheaper, we bought this one to get that edition. Very disappointed. Won't order from them again.

Bought some books for my mom's 5th grade class, great selection of books at low prices and delivery time was faster than expected

Can get new books for great deals and there's sales/specials, too. I've gotten store stickers on some and was able to peel it off pretty easily so no issues with these coming from stores (basically Book Outlet takes overstock from places and sells them cheap). I don't like how the books are just set in a box with no protection. My last order I received, the box was broken, one paperback was sitting inside the cover of another paperback, the edges of my books were a little messed up (probably from hitting the inside of the box), and there was even an unidentified item in there! I sent a ticket and have yet to hear back. I've included the pictures I sent in my ticket here... Overall, I haven't had any major issues ordering books through this site and will continue to be a customer if I see something I like.
