“I have sold several things here and met many new friends”

Marylyn D.

I have sold several things here and met many new friends. I have only been with them about a month. However, if people are complaining about the staff being rude, then the staff needs to understand that customer service should always come with a smile and a respectful tone of voice. They make money from the buyers. If they are upsetting the buyers, then sellers may go away.

Charging the buyer 2.98 fee for each transaction is a rip off. I had some one who wanted 4 items for a total of $16 and the yardsellr fee was going to be $12 and there is no way to combine the shipping fees so she was being charged $10 in shipping when it would only cost me $3 so i sold her everything for $19 off site which is 50% of what it would have cost on yardsellr

This is probably the worst navigation I have seen since 1999. Absolutely horrible. On the positive side, it's a great bad example!

They don't pay you. Been waiting over a month for $400. Allegedly in Paypal but not there money is being held by Yardsellr because I didn't provide tracking number. This site is a mess, disorganized and I'm out $400 cause I'm tired of arguing w/them. Now, they don't answer my emails.

Been a seller for over 10 years on ebay, and used other website to sell my items. I like yardsellr when it was all original. And they started to add many features photons, spin the wheel, and many fake sellers selling drop ship items. They keep changing the website adding point less games, and you have these strange women spending all there time 24 hours on the forums trying to sell there junk and beg you to buy there junk with free shipping and photon play money! They sure don't have a life... it used to be so simple to sale your item it's a big mess and why should you let yardsellr have your customers pay yardsellr direct and not you. I understand trust issue. There is other ways that yardsellr does not have google wallet and paypal they won't add it in your website.the customers think they paid you direct. Yardsellr has your money and are 90% they pay you once you provide them with tracking. Plus there final fees when it sells. It's a big mess. I don't see them lasting i give them 3 years. And the yardsellr workers have issues when you try to correct them they would banned you from using there website if you ever talk back. There need to be orders rules someone supervising them... yardsellr was good 1 year ago. I stop selling because they still owe me money they said they sent payment to my paypal account and no money. I asked them show me proof where it shows they payed me. And never got a respond or email. Horrible service. Big boss must be a greedy little punk wanting to make big money by changing things around and adding there fees. Most of your items you sell will not show up in there website because of a stupid point less it needs to be blockfly? Or it ends up in the bottom list..

Horrible customer service. If you get an email reply back from them at all you're lucky. They are letting one guy ruin the experience for alot of people too. He's trashing YS employees, even the head guy, he's constantly harrassing and threatening other sellers. Foul language in comments, foul postings on his listings. Hundreds of complaints against this buy but YS will not do anything about him. He must have some connection we don't know about or something. I have no idea why he is allowed to run free like it's his own personal playground. It's gotten so bad, many long time sellers have left. Buyers have left. It makes YS look like a joke.

I have complained to them several times already about people leaving nasty comments on my listings. This is a big problem mostly for sports card sellers. They refuse to do anything to correct the problem. People leave nasty comments and we can't screen our comments before they post so people see theses nasty comments for a few hours before we even get a notification about the comments. I am getting sick and tired of the abuse and Yardsellr doesn't care. They tell you to delete it. I don't have time to delete stupid comments from stupid idiots. I have one now who is harassing me by leaving stupid comments on one of my items. He also stole my image and was using it. At least Yardsellr had it removed. They better start doing something about the comment problem real soon because many people are sick of it. If they do not stop this seller from harassing me then I will file a complaint with the BBB against them. Not to mention they allow a lot of fake items on that site and they do nothing about it..

Tripled the buyer fee, now charges you to get paid unless you hand over your personal banking info to them, and ignores you if you have an issue or a problem. RUN don't walk away.

At first glance, this site seemed like a win-win experience. They gave me like ten bucks for joining, so I spent it and forgot about the site.

I was emailed a few weeks later saying someone had given me some "photons" to spend. Um, yes please! But after I logged in I realized those photons (basically cash for just their store) had already expired. Apparently, the second you get any kind of credit it immediately begins to expire.

Yes, I can appreciate that SOMETHING is better than nothing, but if you are trying to GIVE cash so people SPEND cash, don't let it expire so quickly (or at all)!

I also would like to be able to leave feedback for sellers.

Bottom line? I only use the site once or twice a year when I happen to catch an email that I have a $5-$10 credit to my account. Even then, if your credit covers your entire purchase, they take their percentage out of your own pocket (Example: I have a $6 credit and buy a $5 shirt with free shipping. Yardsellr STILL takes between $1-$2 from your credit card, not from your store credit!).

This site is a bit like eBay. You sell and buy stuff from other sellers.
I LOVE the thing that they have NO LISTING FEES so even if you items don't sell, you don't lose money. However, when someone buys your items, it's a bit bad for the buyer because they have to pay the item and a fee from yardsellr. Also, even if yardsellr has a lot of good items, some of the items there are also much... junk. You have to try to look a bit hard to find something good and cute. Furthermore, you can't edit your item description once you list it and either you have to cancel it if you want to edit it and put it up again.

HOWEVER, despite some of its flaws, it's really a GOOD alternative from ebay or etsy if you're a seller and don't want to lose profit because of listing fees!
I highly recommend yardsellr to sell your stuff. (:

Bad

Staff was very rude to me took months to get refund after several emails back and forth proving item not working (seller still on site w/same item I bought broke). Banned me for my attitude because they didn't like that I was upset that they owed me money. I went to BBB and got my money through them.
Site is a joke. FYI I got an email from them to pay me for a positive review! WTH is that? This site that desperate for a good rating?

If you are a seller, the site is pretty good, but buyers beware, there are a lot of bad sellers, and the staff at YardsellR is of no help. I recently received an empty envelope, with delivery confirmation for a purchase that was over $70. Another purchase I made the seller sent me a cheaper version of an advertised item. I received no help. If you are a crook, the site is great, just put a bunch of expensive items in the $50 - $95 range and ship empty packages with delivery confirmation, you will get paid before the package even arrives at its destination, and you have already gotten paid! Do it a couple times until they eventually kick you off, and sign up as someone else! And guess what, do you think after the seller does it a couple more times, the staff would at least apologize to you and give you back any money you lost? The answer is NO! They claim that it is against the rules to misrepresent an item, but when you point out that someone is doing just that, they refuse to make the seller fix the listing, thus helping them rip off more people. YardsellR.com is a seller's and a thief's dream, but it can be a real nightmare to a buyer! I say dont ever buy anything on the internet unless you get protected by Paypal, and avoid buying on YardsellR period!

Yardsellr uses a unique approach to enhance the buyers experience, I consider it to be the best place online to get items you are looking for, what I like about yardsellr is the way they keep out those bad sellers who would rip you off, Yardsellr does not send the money to the seller until the item has shipped with tracking information, this protects the buyers from scam artist who take your money and never ship. Also they have this thing called photons they are like money that they apply to help pay for a purchase, I know some who have paid virtually pennies for items. Another thing I like is the use of the actual sellers name and not some vague online ID, you get the feeling that you are dealing with an actual person because you can see their name and who you are dealing with, some sellers have 800 numbers that you can contact them at. I have bought 10-12 items on yardsellr and I have yet to be disappointed.

I get emails from this site daily "awarding" me 100K, 250K, 500K potons; so like today, I get email awarding me 500,000 photons, protons I dont care. Now each time I have gotten an email, since I had purchase one item, I do check it every day and it always says that I have ******* photons or sperm cells or mucus. So thinking I now have 1,185,000 pisstons, I find the Marilyn T I wanted. I buy it and they say that ******* pistons were used; got $2 off the T shirt, plus shipping of course, plus the poor Seller gets subtracted 20 or 25%, the transaction ends. Now thinking I can get some other T that I found. Go back and find that NOW I have only 669 pooptons--and how dare they defame 69!
This place is a pure RIP I really don't care whatever somebody says that it is 5 Stars: Mark Twain once said: "Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."
This should be hacked and destroyed.

My experience with this site was positive, up until they banned my friends from the site. They were going against the rules and had other accounts, which was obvious as to why they were suspended. But when I helped out a friend by buying him an item he wanted, they banned me too! I sent them a nice email, asking why it had happened, and asking for them to fix the problem. They flat out refused, and accused me of having multiple accounts too. They also took about 2 weeks to even respond, with the response that I would not get my account back because they assumed I was my friend.
When I showed them proof I wasn't my friend, they said it wasn't a real account and that I was lying and they can't help me. I loved the site up until they pulled this crap. The customer service team was not helpful, and while I do understand they must be busy, they certainly should look into their fake account claims more carefully.
All in all, the site was great when they actually let me be a part of it. If they'd fix my problem and actually listen to me, I'd gladly write them a bit of a better idea, but unfortunately they don't want to do anything for their customers.

Kind of bogus if you ask me, got a ton of crazy ladies there too who hate men.
Put unstable women + Money in a Dying Marketplace = Blood Bath as they will claw and bite there way to buy their dose of Crack for the morning.

Oh and glitches all your money when you pay for boost, and the founder and employees say you're lying even after you submit video evidence and they don't payback a dime? It happened to me, and the proof is all over the internet for all to see. FRAUD DEPT. Look here ----:> https://getsatisfaction.com/yardsellr/topics/jed_the_bulk_uploader_is_still_broken

I have been selling on there for about 6 months and my sales have dropped from about 1K per month to ZERO! Yardsellr is alllowing my competiton to blockify my items (which usaully they just don't). However they won't allow me to blockify items into any blocks in which I have sold items before. I emailed yardsellr multiples of times with absoulutly NO REPONSE!
