I have been contacted by Trivago Inc. to work for them as a local partner. My task is to is to receive payments from customers in my area. I then have to withdraw money from my account and and send it to your customer office.I was advice to look at this particular website to know more about Trivago. Kris Richards signed as director of the company.
Is this real or is it a Scam?
I used them recently to book a hotel and found their comparison site to be very useful.
I don't understand what all this talk of them being a scam is, because you pay the hotels directly, they don't take any money or commission from you. I think its more a case of somebody using their name to trick people into being scammed. In my view I think the last review should be removed, as it seems as if it's nothing to do with trivago.co.uk
So in summary a really usefull comparison tool and not a scam
The company is not the Travigo. co.uk.Their name is Travago Inc and they say that they are part of Travigo.co.uk, which is not true.
I do agree with you that Travigo.co.uk is a brilliant website and I will definitely use them for good hotel deals.
I don't understand why you posted a bad review for Trivago.co.uk, clearly your issue has nothing to do with them.
Bad reviews, especially ones surrounding scams have a massive adverse affect on companies. I think you should consider the effect you could have on a company before you start slating them on the internet.
i agreed with this (above) wholeheartedly

T N. you should never have to take money from your own account for a job!!!!!
T N. (the exception is if you're investing or are a partner, but this doesn't really sound like that)
Karolina N. Hiya I have got the same offer. I am not sure if it is real. Is there anyone that transfered money for them????
Josephine L. Hiya. They are a Scam! They actually steal the money from someone's account ,put in in your account and then you have to send the money though a moneygram to a specific person. Straight after I have withdrawn the money to send it to the specific person,my bank contacted me about a fraudulent transaction and said that they have to take the money from my account because the money is fraudulent, which they did. I then have to go down to my local bank and explain to them and showing them the necessary evidences that I did not know that this was a fraudulent business. After I gave them all the evidences that I did not withdraw the money knowing that it was a Scam, they still could not promise me that I would get my money back. Thank God, after numerous phone calls I eventually got my money back! Please do not fall for the Scam as I did because all the money that they put in your account will be taken away from the bank and at the end they actually steal your own hard earned money!
T N. wow, thanks, josephine, for that information. i got another email alert with a nasty comment inserted but i'm guessing sitejabber got rid of that. so glad you got your money back. @karolina, i hope you didn't do this??
S B. Sounds like a classic "Deposit check and transfer funds" scam, where you deposit a check into your account, withdraw your own money and send it away, and then find out the original check is counterfeit. See this Snopes article for the classic example: http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/cashier.asp
