Country Door

Bought the tan block quilt. Was sorely dissatisfied it's cheap and not worth the price. Will not buy from this company again

WAS TOTALLY satisfied with lady in customer service on 10/27th, very helpful & found solution for me. The issue was NOT with country door but Pa. Postal system tracking. She went beyond what she needed to do, and was able to find their package to me, and give me updated info. In buying from Country door for 20 years, only once was I dissatisfied with quality of a bird house. ( I fixed loose board and used it and still hanging. Not worth the shipping to return when I could fix it easily). I do think like many other companies, Bt quality has changed and to much comes from China. But so far, no issues with what I have ordered. Winter, Holiday decor on its way. So hope I do not have to change my review. But for customer service, could not have asked for nicer lady this past week. The package still has not arrived, but not country doors fault. Just Pa postal hub issue in Harrisburg, Pa.

I would love to be able to order from this company but the inflated and ridiculous shipping fees of $50+ are unacceptable.

I've ordered from Country Door in the past and been pleased with my purchases. Just got the latest catalog with 2020 Holiday offers. I chose TWO holiday wall hangings, which together totaled under $100, and literally the shipping charge for regular shipping and handling was $24. I backed the heck outta that website, never to return. Unbelieveable.

We ordered a beautiful quilt from them and matching shams. Received the product and it didn't match the size that we thought (oversized). Called costumer service to find out that not only did we overpay for shipping ($30) but we would have to pay that again for the replacement. We did sleek with three different people and got nowhere. The packaging slip came with a return label that stated $7.95 - 8.95 to return product. Went to return and was charged 28.95 for shipping. We will never buy from this company ever again #### them worst costumer service ever

My 2nd time I ordered from this company, 2 items a garbage can and a pine dish rack. Garbage can was too small, and omg the same dish rack, same model number that you can buy at Walmart. I get a bill for shipping that I already paid for. I spoke with a billing rep who was just down right rude with attitude. I am so done, this place is a joke. Bad Business. I don't even want to give them a star, but I can't post without one.

I ordered an upholstered chair and ottoman. It shipped by FedEx. After getting notifications that it was on its way they changed the delivery date 4 times and finally delivered on a day that was not scheduled. About the chair…it arrived in a large box. Completely unassembled. The instructions were simple & my husband and I are DIYers so no problem. Except there was absolutely no way the parts fit. We had to get inventive to redo what was done in China to finally finish it. It turned out great but for what I paid in shipping & processing it was not cheap. We could've gone to a furniture store and found a better chair for what we paid for the chair & shipping. Although it's smaller than expected but I like it. I doubt I will ever order furniture from them again.

I was about to order 2 lamps that were "on sale" for a total of 130.00. They claimed it was a 35% off sale. When I was finalizing the sale they wanted 26.00 shipping & "processing" 10.00 additional "delivery" charge, 2.00 surcharge, and 4.00 "additional" charge. 42.00 ADDITIONAL charges! This sale suddenly became a 172.00 purchase all BEFORE taxes. 35% off sale? Big ripoff sale is more like it.

Over the years we have spent large amounts of money with Country Door. Recently my wife returned a product and was forced to pay a restocking fee/shipping fee of almost $28.00.Never have we ever had to pay this in the past.The item purchased was around $57.00. After speaking with two different customer service reps to no avail we can no longer do business with a company that has return fees that are borderline illegal. Never again. Gonna spread the word about you.

I ordered two items on the on 14 November. According to my order status, one was shipped on the 16 Nov and the other on 18 Nov... On tracking, it say it was shipped to Pitney Bowes in Monroe Township NJ and they received them on 24 Nov. From there it says that one item departed the Pitney Bowes Facility on the 27 Nov and the other on 30 Nov ( this makes no sense since both arrived there on the same day, but took 3 days longer to ship out one). It is now the evening of 8 Dec and I still haven't gotten the items. I I ordered them early since they are presents to be given on the 12 Dec, but looks like that will not be if things keep going as they are...

I love the products, good quality too but payment is ridiculous, every single time I try and make a payment on line it won't go through, then I gotta call so I get the automated crap which never goes through so each time i get charged by some live rip off customer service person and I really can't wait to get out of this and find a legitimate company! Your website sucks! You want a 2 dollar charge every time..

I didn't want to rate this--they don't even deserve one star! I have received their catalogs for years, but never ordered. I was given an account, so I thought, let's check it out. I found a couple of things for my granddaughters, so I ordered. About two weeks later, I checked the status and my order status said they needed more information and to call them. Customer Service is non-existent and when I finally got through, I could not understand the person--very poor communication skills. What I learned is that even though I had approved credit, they wanted me to pay. I told them to cancel my order and will block all texts and emails from this company!

Bought a child's rocking chair and paid the INSANE shipping costs (26.58!) and the rocker ($64,98) so here I am with a chair I wouldn't let a child sit in for $97.05. Embarrassed to give it so I will go out and buy another gift to make up for this mistake. Paint is thin and missing on some slats and they provide nothing to cover screw holes. Garbage.

Tis company sent me defective merchandise and charged me twice for shipping. Once when purchased and then when returned. When I called customer service 3 different employees which included Supervisors provided terrible customer service, disconnected the call and transferred without any explanation never resolving my credits on my account. Therefore i will not pay this bill at all and it is their loss. Maybe when they employ competent employees to resolve billing issues I will consider paying.

I have received this catalog for years and finally decided to order. My intention was to order Easter decorations and if I ordered 2 there was a discount. Sounds great until you are charged double in savings for a 'surcharge' when you check out. Don't fall for the bait and switch. Take me off your list and stop sending catalogs. Ethics in business has never gone out of style.

I ordered a sunflower arrangement latter part of October & it finally arrived today. Opened the box to find a LED poinsettia ball! No invoice enclosed - nothing, just the wrong order. Immediately called the 800# and recording said to try back later. Tried to log onto customer service - nothing connected. I can only presume this is a scam company, I got screwed over and lesson learned. Will throw out all catalogs and warn everyone I know (which is considerable) never to get fooled by this phony "company".

I ordered some seat cushions from county door. Not please for the amount I paid of $25 each. I got 4 for the cost of over $100 and tax. Had one day and the middle part that is only tacked with a tread came loose. Each day after what ever cushion u sit on each thread in middle came loose. Poor, poor quality. I'm paying off my account I owe and never buying anything again. Cheap company don't waste your hard earn money here.

Don't buy chairs from them unless you never sit in them.Purchased chair in April 2022 and a 2 year protection plan. They claim I cancelled the protection plan in August but was hospitalized in August when phone gave out and wasn't able to purchase a new phone until Sept 3...so I can't figure out how I was able to cancel the protection plan when I had no way of doing so...anyway three times I sit this 215 lb body on this chair and the leg breaks...where on the website do you see returns are only good within the first 60 days nowhere not on invoice or website...so the offer a measley $40 for my difficulty...and want me to use that to by another chair from them.Bit once but not twice

Country door is one of the most disrespectful companies that I've ever ordered from! They put out these beautiful displays in their catalog and they tell you you are approved for $400 worth of merchandise.
Then when you order something they tell you they require a downpayment, kind of sneaky! And extremely disrespectful and humiliating.
I'm a 67 year-old man and I hate being treated with disrespect, not only that I hate being lied to by a company whose sole purpose is to scam me.
You can do what you want, as for me and my family, we will never order a thing from country door again in life because of the way they treated me!

This is not an honest company. I wish there was a no star option. Buyers BEWARE. I have called them over and over again and all I get is one rude representative after another. This company should not be in business. They sell over price defective JUNK. They can't seem to get anything right. I wish I had NEVER ordered from them. Buyers BEWARE. Please the other reviews (I wished I had) they have a 1.75 rating. That says a lot... Trust me it's really terrible everyting about this company.

I prophesied they go out of business. InJesus's name. Yes I mentioned Jesus name to seal this stoe closes. Don't use this store return fee is ridiculous and the quality is not great not even close. They will charge you $35+ plus to return an item. Most companies provide a return label and if not no more than $10. The company is horrible they use the return fees to keep their company open because they know their policy Sucks, horrible, thieves product is not good. I can go on.and on. I'm sure you get the point stay away from.Country Door,you'll do better shopping elsewhere

SHIPPING 2 MUCH

They send me mail all the time. I have $900 credit.So I ordered $250. They never got back to me. When I went to the web site. They hadn't shipped the items yet... No response what so ever. I don't know if this is a real business. I canceled my order... What a waste of my time. There is no one there. I think this site should be removed from the web. It hurtful.to advertise for nothing.
