Our puppy has arrived perfect he was clean and smelled like a newborn baby dipped in baby powder. He is the sweetest little fellow just as this breeder described. Our paper work was in order and our Veterinarian gave Pumpkinpus a clean bill of health. We are very pleased with him he is using his potty pads like a pro. He cried the first night but has done good since then. He is very well socialized you can tell by his health and personality he was well cared for by Mr. And Mrs. Whatley we will recommend this breeder to all our friends and family looking for a MiKi puppy. The price was reasonable the communicate was excellent all our questions were answered promptly. I would give this breeder 100+ stars. Incredible puppy.

Our puppy was wonderful. But the breeder never sent papers and continued to make excuses why she couldn't. I am so glad we bought this beautiful puppy from her. He was eight years when he died from congestive heart failure. The vet said he probably had the defect since birth. She needs to be reported for her lies. We have no regrets with our dog just regret about the seller.

Purchased Wheaten Terrier. When accepting dog, she "forgot" AKC registration. Now at 2 years of age, my Wheaten has Addisons Disease. Stay away! She is running fake, unhealthy dogs.

Ran down my dog's and doesn't even know me or my dog's and tried selling a potential new puppy owner of mine to buy one of hers instead! I find this very DISTASTEFUL and disrespectful to other REPUTABLE BREEDERS!
You are not all that and then some! Better set back and check yourself!

Totally misled us about our malties. So many promise and little if any follow through. These people need to be shut down. When we told them our dog was sick they promised a few dollers back for the meds and have yet to see the money. It is time to report them. We love our dog and have worked hard to get him healthy.

I want to let everyone know what happened so you can pray with me. Abbie Whatley and Jim Whatley were boarding my dogs as you know since i moved. I received word that due to their neglect 15 dogs froze to death! This is devestating. On top of which I have only 2 left there. When I asked for my 2 dogs to be returned to me and my pups out of my remaining dog all hell broke loose. Jim Whatley threatened to kill my dog! Yes to me on the phone in a rage! He told me he will "put him down" please do not buy any puppies from this woman. Abbie whatley then proceeded to tell me she was going to steal my yorkie and my puppies... All these years I was a victim fool thinking they were good people. Like family. She was an aunt to me I EVEN VOUCHED FOR HER... and for that and for my faithful clients i apologize. I was the victim of her scam. They were true con artists. It turns out they are a puppy mill who lies steals and hurts people. Just google them. This is a crime. I urge everyone to call livingston county sherriff and demand justice for these animals! And share this post!. Do not buy from candycoated doxies or fairy tale frenchies! Jim was mad at me because he felt he should be able to KEEP my stud since he lost 40-60 dogs himself. Missourri ground shippers will not ship for them. They have been boycotted for taking photos... some included my own and selling pups they never had! Taking peoples money and never giving them a dog. I am seeking justice for My poor dogs. I am so devestated by this... I have never imagined that greed could make a person so nasty. Make a person lie and slaughter innocent dogs! This is why Mo is the puppymill capital of the world! I have pics of messages and recordings for anyone that wants proof!... i have contacted the usda, the humane society the akc, the police, the inspector and i will stop at nothing to bring my dogs home safely. Please do not purchase any pups from her! I am trying to get them seized for safety.

I purchased my "teacup" yorkie from Abigale this past summer. I was told that he would he about 2 to 3 lbs. full grown. He is 8 months old, and, so far, he is over 5 lbs. I was also promised AKC registration for him. It has been over 5 months, and I have received NOTHING! I have emailed Abigale numerous times, and have gotten excuse after excuse as to why I have not received the paperwork. I finally filed a report with the BBB! I was one of those people who didn't believe the negative reviews, and even gave them a good review on Puppyfind. Please don't fall victim to the sweet, Christian act like I did!

I was scammed by candycoateddoxie, Abigale Whatley took my money, ($1800) for the price of two puppies and their travelling expense.
I live in England and was very happy to find Puppyfind advertising Miki dogs for sale. I used my ill health retirement money to fund my puppies. I thought buying two puppies from such a worldwide dog selling site its sellers would be reputable.
In October 2013 I arranged purchase of my puppies with Abigale, they were to travel over at the end of January 2014, I had two because I thought it would be kinder to the puppy to have a companion on such a long journey.
I was first suspicious just before Christmas when she sent me picture of the mum of my Mikis, I had seen this picture before on another site belonging to some one else.
Abigale reassured me everything was ok, the front of this woman is unbelievable, she sounds very honest and helpful.
Each month passed and still no puppies, she made excuse after excuse, I emailed her, feeling quite helpless being so far away. My friends and family told me she was scamming me but still I believed I would get my beloved puppies. I phoned her and she sounded so plausible that that puppies were coming.
Eventually I employed a solicitor and after many more broken promises she agreed to send my money back in full, that was in June and still no puppies, no refund and she doesn't answer any of my emails.
I have shed many tears over this, I have since seen all the terrible reviews candycoateddoxie have received and I wonder how she has been allowed to stay in business.
I am devastated and I want to warn anyone not to buy a puppy from Abigale Whatley.
I am happy to answer any emails about this matter, *******@icloud.com
My solicitor will be pursuing this matter on my behalf.
Regards Laura Craig from England.

I purchased a miniature dachshund from this breeder 8 years ago. Reading your stories, everything is so familiar. The very pleasant initial emails, the promises of a "puppy kit", promises of papers, then once I picked my little guy up I never heard from her again. I was promised a 5-7lb dog... he's now about 18 and not overweight at all! I should have known it was a scam. Nevertheless, I have a wonderful best friend, and have not had a single health concern in the past 8 years with him. I recently was telling the story of how I came to have my little guy in my life and went to check out the website of the breeder to find nothing was working... then stumbled onto this website.

This lady is a FRAUD! The dog I thought I had purchased was a 1 pound yorkie who couldn't ship until it was 12 weeks old because the puppy was "so small", but to my surprise I received a solid 4 pound dog that looked NOTHING like the pictures I got from her. When I confronted her about the issue she became very defensive and told me to send the dog back and she would refund me the money AFTER she had the dog in her hands. I do not trust this lady one ounce anymore and am forced to sell it myself for most likely less than what I paid, as I paid decent money thinking I was getting a tiny dog. I convinced myself to ignore the negative reviews when purchasing her, but please do not make the same mistake I did! She is very sweet and convincing on the phone, but she is a liar!

I was promised a picture every week of the dachshund I ordered. I paid in full. Only received one picture from her. When she took the puppy picture of the dog down, I saw a repeat of the same exact picture listed for another dog. The dog wasn't shipped on time. When I called her about it she blamed the shipping company. The following week the dog had not arrived still, and when I CALLED HER because she has horrible communication, she said the puppies were all exposed to a respiratory infection and needed to be on medicine. I told her I wanted a refund in full and she said of course of course. To this day I have only received half and she dodges my calls, emails, and paypal requests for money. She is a horrible business owner and does not live up to her promises. Stay away!

Our dog was very ill. The vet said the shots had to be redone. Vet said we were scammed and our dog is a mixed breed and he could only guess the mix. Another friend received her dog at same time. Same thing. Bad case of giardia, ear infection and kennel cough. Vet said this dog also is no pedigree but a mix of breeds. My dog was suppose to weigh 6 pounds. It's 10. My gf dog was suppose to be 5 pounds. It is 13. The papers they promise you are a joke. Ask for a copy before u purchase. They are papers that say you bought a dog! They are not official from anywhere. My g. F. got theses papers and they are a joke. I hope these people get busted because this just isn't right. I don't know how they can be so sweet on the phone and be so dishonest in real life. BTW, Mi Ki dogs are not recognized by the AKC, but she will swear she has papers for your dog. Those papers have never been received. If you know anything about the MiKi breed, you know they have long hair like a Maltese. My dog has hair that sheds everywhere and it is as short as a Chihuahua's coat!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE INTERESTED IN SHUTTING DOWN THIS FRAUDALENT BUSINESS, GO TO USDA APHIS WEBSITE, LISTED ARE USDA BREEDERS - THEIR LICENSE WILL BE UNDER JAMES WHATLEY, IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT ABIGAIL WHATLEY COULD NOT GET A LICENSE. THEN GET THE NUMBER FOR THE USDA REGIONAL OFFICE IN FT. COLLING, COLORADO AND VOICE YOUR OPINION. OR GET THE ADDRESS AND SEND COPIES OF ALL COMMUNICATION TO THIS OFFICE.
I WAS SCAMMED BIG TIME BY THIS PUPPY MILL GROUP AND NEVER WISH IT UPON ANYONE ELSE.
THERE IS ALSO A LICENSE FOR MISSOURI STATE BREEDERS IN MISSOURI, BUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM. TRY GOING TO THE MISSOURI STATE WEBSITE.

LET'S GET THEM SHUT DOWN.

Beware of this breeder. She is advertising and selling puppies as registered Mi Ki pedigree puppies when they are nothing more than mixed breed puppies she cross bred with no Mi Ki pedigree lineage to sell for financial gain. I purchased 2 puppies from this breeder, the first puppy a did not question because he looked like he was of Mi Ki pedigree but the 2nd did not look the same or like anything I found when researching the breed. I had them both DNA tested. The 1st puppy is a Miniature Poodle cross bred with a Mixed Breed (Shi Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix) and the 2nd is a Yorkshire Terrier cross bred with a Mixed Breed (so diluted they can't even tell the heritage of the mixed breed mixture-but it did include some Dachsund?). The Mi Ki pedigree is a mixture of Japanese Chin, Maltese and Papillon (cross bred to create this edigree long ago and nothing else). The breeder comes across as honest and Christian, but is just money hungry. Count how many puppies she has for sale at any given time on the puppyfind site.

I purchased a Doxie puppy from them 4 years ago. Abigale was in constant contact with me answering all my questions and asked what I was going to name her so they could start calling her by name. I was to pick up my puppy at their kennel on my way back from vacation. I had explained I was coming from a vacation in New Orleans and I would have nothing with me for the puppy so I double checked about the puppy starter kit that is listed as given with each puppy and was told I didn't need to worry because everything I needed was in that kit. I started getting nervous because she was no longer answering my emails after I sent the money. I had already set the day for when I would arrive in Moorseville for the pick up. As the pick up date got closer I could not get ahold of Abigale. Finally she answered the phone and I told her I would be there in 2 days to get my little puppy. She was extremely nervous and said she would call me back. She did call me back and told me her husband would meet us at another town with the puppy. (First sign of a puppy mill when her site says to come any time and share a cup of coffee.) The town where we were meeting was farther out of our way but at this time I just wanted my puppy. She sent her husband to meet us and he came in his truck with nothing but the puppy. We were upset about no starter kit and he said he didn't know anything about that. He did find an old toy in the truck he gave us. He also was calling her a nick name (not at all the name we told Abigale that she was going to start calling her.) Here we were still 2 days from our home, our puppy dumped off with nothing. Our first stop was to get all the neccessary puppy items we needed. She was sick with diarrhea all the rest of our trip (could have been from traveling.) When we finally got home we took her to the Vet who said the shots documented were questionable so all shots had to be given to her again. Her bottom jaw did not grow so she has and will have for the rest of her life jaw problems. She has a hard time eating food and drinking water. She had never stepped her little paws on grass before. You could tell by the way she was walking on the grass. The whole website was a farse. This says puppy mill all over. Her mother had been listed under different dame names so they were breeding the mother more than they should have and just changing the names. A friend of mine wrote interested in a Doxie and asked about the kennels. They sent a picture of a beautiful brand new kennel that clearly had just been built somewhere. When my friend asked to see the same picture with the dogs in the kennel Abigale would not respond again. She cut off all comunication. Even though I love my little girl Doxie so much and she has the best personality... from my experience this is definitely a puppy mill or as close to a puppy mill as you can get. I feel bad for all these dogs, adults and puppies as they clearly do not have a good life. We need to rescue them all and shut this place down!

I Bought a dog from this breeder and am VERY happy. My puppy is very happy, healthy, intelligent and beautiful! I had some problems receiving the puppy but after I got her I understood why. The breeder, Abigale, was worried about sending her via plane or van because the weather was so cold. She was worried about her traveling and possibility of getting sick. Her husband personally drove a 6 hour round trip to deliver her to me. I can't say enough good about her. My puppy is only 1.5 pounds and the Vet said Abigale's concerns were very reasonable. She always kept in contact with me even sending pictures when I requested. I would recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a puppy that is well socialized and healthy. ~ I love my MiKi!~ Renee

I was scammed by Abigale Whatley of candycoateddoxie. She took my money, gave excuse after excuse, I never did get my puppies or my money back. I am devastated that a woman like this can just get away with puppy farming, scamming honest people and selling sick dogs. She is F rated and has had a whole catalogue of complaints about her.
I live in England, she knew all the procedures puppies had to go through to come over here, she sounded honest and reputable when I phoned her from England to see when my puppies were coming.
I have taken on a lawyer to try and get this matter dealt with and Abigale promised to give me a full refund. That was back in May 2014, I have not received a penny back from her.
She ignore all my emails, she ignores my solicitors instructions.
PLEASE feel free to email me for more information about this awful woman. We need to get her stopped. I hate to think what is going on behind closed doors for all those poor little dogs. *******@icloud.com
Yours sincerely Laura Craig.

I was scammed by Abigail Whatley I bought a German Shepherd puppy from her back in March when the puppy turned 8 weeks old she told me that the puppy had health issues and asked if I would like to exchange for another German shepherd that was not quite ready to go yet because he was not 8 weeks old when he finally turned 8 weeks old she said she was sending him to me that Monday so I called to see if he had been picked up yet by her shipper I got no answer on the phone so I emailed her still received no answer. On Thursday her husband Jim answered the phone and I asked if my pup was on his way his reply was what puppy? No puppies were picked up. He said Abigail friend passed away and he would have her call me about the puppy. A week passed and still no replies no emails and no calls I called left emails and no replies back. Another week passed and she said she would sell my puppy that I have been waiting for and return my money. Here it is almost the end of August now and no puppy and no refund I paid for the puppy plus the shipping I paid for to get him here to me The puppy was born on April 26 my moms birthday which made the puppy even more special to me. My mom passed away two years ago. I would send pictures of the puppy but she would not even send me pictures that were current of him this women is a crook and needs to be stopped. Also she is a puppy mill she breeds several different pups now and in Missouri you are suppose to be licensed and she is not

This is my advice if she tells u your dog died
She boarded mine for yrs and then told me they all died at the ripe old age of 5! All froze to death. Before that many mysterious unexplainable deaths. I was lied to decieved and when i called the sherriff threatened. Jim himself told me he was going to kill my last dog while Abbie told me she was going to steal MY puppies from My last dog there... what an eye opener. My photos were used to sell dogs that she did not have. I lost thousands of dollars! She claimed she shouldnt compensate me because 60 of her dogs froze to death too...! This is why Mo is the puppymill capital of the world. Never buy a Mo pup again. I hear she also did this to a woman with G shepherds too. I am hiring an attorney. She is licensed but we can change that really quick. This is fraud and abuse

I know for a fact as a former business woman with Abbie that all negative comments are true and Jim would never drive 6 hours that's a fake review she asked probably her daughter who is an RN to write. I have personal knowledge of the German shepherds she sold the same ones to many people I was told so not everyone got a pup but they all paid!

I am glad I found this site before I bought a Pekingese from her. WOW! What an eye opener. How is she allowed to stay in business? Her dogs froze to death? Are you kidding me? My dogs are not allowed outside long enough to freeze under any circumstances! I really hope I misread the number of "60" animals. I was planning to drive over to pick up a pup considering we are within a few hours of her. Now I will look elsewhere for a Pekingese pup. Have attempted to adopt Pekingese from rescues, but most rescue organizations want the adopting family to live in closer proximity to them. Have adopted two dogs in the past when we lived elsewhere, but our current local shelter never has Pekingese. They do have an abundance of larger dogs. Alas, I am a confirmed pekingese lover. We have had Pekingese/Shih Tzu mixes which are lovable, but currently have a Pekingese/Pomeranian mix. (Never again will I do a Pomeranian mixed with any other kind or purebred.) She is cute, but no where near as calm in personality as most Pekingese. Anyway, I am glad I found this site. Thanks to all of you for your feedback.

We received our angel from Abigale and she is perfect. We drove from California to pick up our first baby. We were invited you to go home to visit all the puppies in the moms. The puppies were clean that mothers were clean and well fed and the house was immaculate. We even were invited over to the bats office with the bucket Marion to do the health certificate for our puppy to drive back to California with us. Our baby received a clean bill of health and we left that Saturday afternoon. We had our second happy shipped to us Bieber the ground shopper and the puppy arrived happy and healthy. Our second puppy will come from the walkways this summer. I have went over these reviews I think there is somebody that is very jealous of the Watleys success with their beautiful puppies. Anyone is welcome to contact me for a reference for the Whatleys I'm not ashamed to leave my email address. It's a shame all breeders are not as good with their dogs and puppies as Jiim and Abigale Watley are.

I purchased 2 Maltese from Candycoateddoxie. Abigale Whatley. Not knowing who you are buying from is a scary experience. Fortunately, Abigale is a Quality breeder. I can not say enough good things about Abigale. She not only produces quality, tested Maltese, but is a trust worthy, honest, caring breeder. She cares and spends time with her puppies and cares about the families they are going to as well. Her puppies are well socialized, potty pad trained and absolutely adorable. The whole experience has been wonderful. Abigale made the delivery easy and kept me informed of everything I needed to know before, during, and after arriving home with the puppies. She is there for you always if you need her. If you are looking for a honest quality breeder, you will find that in Abigale Whatley. I have read some of these reviews and I do know that there are 2 sides to each and every story. I found out the other side of the story and found Abigale to be honest, and trust worthy of my business. I visited her home and all her dogs and the babies. The you will just not find a better person to deal with or more healthy loved dogs than at the Whatley's. I am personally so glad to have met and spent time with these wonderful people. I would recommend her to anyone anywhere. If you want a healthy happy puppy look no further.
