I to was caught - ordered a free trial paying £2.95 for what I thought was postage and then a couple of weeks later they had taken over £89.00 from my account with no authorisation. How do they keep getting away with it - only just found this site pity I had not seen it before I ordered. This does not bode well for all the legitimate traders. Why has trading for this company not been stopped by the authorities- there should be ways of profiling publicly on the news or by a television programme these fraudulent ways.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Do not trust this website or the product they are selling which is supposedly an anti-wrinkle serum. They claimed they were offering customers a free trial when in fact they charge you almost £100 and claim that you agreed to pay! The serum is a cheap watered down version of aloe vera jel, it has no transformation and is ridiculously over-priced. You are better off going to an actual shop and asking for testers! This website is a complete scam!

I have had the same experience as everyone else above. Money was taken from my account approximately £88. Died their helpline but no o e picked up. They are a bunch of thieves who cannot be bothered to go out and get real jobs! The pity is what they are doing is legal so beware! How people can work for such a business is beyond
Me... Then again I am not a thief!

Do not touch this company with the longest barge pole you can find. Totally unscrupulous in their dealings. £89.51 taken out of account after trailing a Free tester. Watch for this one on several trading standard programmes.

I was only applying for samples and free items when this site popped up as a free sample with only a charge for postage. The two pretty bottles arrived which I did not use. No invoice was ever sent, only a packing slip. My back account was overdrawn and when my back statement came I found that almost $200.00 had been deducted from my account. But before that, another package had arrived with two more bottles of skin care. I e-mailed customer service only to be told I only had 14 days to contact them and that I could not return the order. But since I called, they would cancel any further orders. I told her I did not place any orders for this, never saw any invoices for the price and I needed to return these items for full refund. She told me that would be impossible since I had placed the order. She said they could refund half of the last order if I wanted to keep it. I told her I wanted to send it back. I mailed it to the shipping address on the box. Then she told me in an e-mail that since I sent it to a random address, there would be no way I could get a refund and now they have taken $400.00 out of my checking account that I did not authorize. I have not given up yet. I wish we could put these people out of business the way they are taking advantage of people with their false advertising. Do not buy or give these people any information! I don't know how long it will take me to to straighten out everything for me and my bank account. Just be careful!

Wish I had seen this before I succumbed to the temptation. Returned second shipment unopened and was told they never received it. When I called to get shipment stopped and request for refund was given two long numbers and a different address that I now have to pay myself to return. Also, they're deducting their shipping! SOMEBODY NEEDS TO TAKE THEM DOWN!

I bought the trial and thought that was it. Unfortunately, they took £ 87 plus out of my account yesterday. I spoke to my bank who know this company very well and this is how they make their money! I'm devastated as I'm 61 and can't work since an accident a year ago and this has left me with £27 in my account!

I've had the same issues as those also listed and have trouble giving this company even one star. Had a popup survey for a free sample, agreeing to pay postage only and then two weeks later (according to my credit card statement) they charged me an additional £84! I certainly did not agree to additional services or charges and was NOT informed of any returns policy. This company sucks. Luckily, as I had paid by credit card, I was able to inform the credit card company of exactly what happened - free sample advert, no information provided on return policies, no information provided on the extra charge when you keep the product - and the credit card apparently contacted the company who then provided a full refund.

Well, I wish I had seen this site before I completed a pop-up online survey last month. Fore-warned would have been fore-armed. I can see from the dates of other posts that this company has been ripping off the public for months and have not modified their unethical sales scam.
I was offered a choice of three free gifts for completing an online survey and chose the Agerenewskin which was described as a "sample" on the screen. I was asked to pay£1.99 for postage and gave my credit card details to cover this cost. On completion of this transaction there was no onscreen notification that I had committed to anything else; no special terms were displayed. I never received an email confirming this or any other transaction as one normally expects, but this was a free sample and therefore I imagined there would be minimal formality surrounding it. A few days later I received a small parcel about 12cm long, which I put on one side. There was no accompanying paperwork to warn me of what was to come. At the end of the month my credit card statement contained not just the postage charge but a cost of product £84.71. I immediately challenged this through the credit card company who obliged by putting a stop on any further payments and advising a course of action. After some days of correspondence with the company which refuses to issue a Returns Authorization Number (as advised on their own website), I am forced to apply more pressure. Nor will they credit me with the £84.71 charged for a "free sample". It emerged during this exchange of correspondence that the company was planning to bill me for £84.71 EVERY MONTH! Starting with this post I will move onto a twitter campaign (anyone reading this please start one too) and report them to any media consumer group Newspapers/TV who is interested (my guess is that there have been a lot of people caught by this sneaky tactic of theirs), report them to the OFT and I will initiate a Small Claims Court action.
Companies employing these dodgy sales methods and then hiding behind small print conditions deserve to be brought down. Please help me do it.

Despite prolonged discussions and emails, the credit card company's "experienced expert on this subject" insisted I had ordered the disputed product and informed me he would not be able to obtain the credit and the dispute would be closed by him.

He became very agitated when I insisted the product had not been ordered by me and questioned his knowledge and wrong conclusion of the matter. The telephone conversation was ended by him.

As I have a new credit card, I decided to call it a day.
It would be interesting to know if the are still getting away with this scam?

Regards Maurice

If there was an option to put -star, then this would be well below zero star, never touch this company, I fell for the same scam, the web site they displayed, never had a link to their terms and conditions, I paid the postage, and received the free trial, then after finding another web page, I saw a very small link to their terms and conditions, I phoned them to say I wish to cancel, a few weeks later, £88 was taken from my account, then a few days later, a package arrived from them, I sent the package recorded delivery with the RMA number they provided, and nothing had been refunded, after several phone calls to their customer service, they told me that I would be refunded 35% 50% and 75% refund because they say the product had been opened, I sent the package back as soon as it arrived to my house, I told them to refund 100%, still no refund, several phone calls and emails later, they still would not refund me, they still insist that the product was opened, I sent them proof that the package was checked and signed by their staff, but still they will not refund me, I explained to them that Royal Mail recorded delivery goes like this, the post person arrives at their company with a parcel, the company checks that the parcel is ok, then they sign for it to say it has not been opened, but still they refuse to refund me, I have been to the Bank, and they said that many other customers in my area have had problems with this company, and have now blocked my card from them. I intend to continue this fight for a refund of money they stole from my account, companies like this cannot get away with ripping people off.

I also fell into the trap of sending off for a 'free' sample, agreeing to pay a supposed 'postage and packing' charge. Now I find that I have also been charged almost £100 for the same item again. DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP!
I suspect that if I had not checked my bank account they would have carried on debiting the same amount every month.

Like others I was a victim of this scam. I was sent this product as a gift for completing an online survey. I was suppose to be charged postage only but was charged £84.71. This is a disgusting scam. I will take steps to see if I can take this matter further. Of course Agerenewskin could do the right thing and refund this amount to me,

Please don't be fooled by this free trial unless you read the small print you will not realise that if you use the free trial and not return it and how else will you know if you want to purchase more if you don't try it, you will be charged for the free trial in the region of £80 per small tube of cream and will be sent more and charged same every month. Don't be fooled into handing over your bank details thinking that it is only to cover the postage of your supposed free sample once they have your bank details they have free access to your bank

Tip for consumers:
Don't use it

You can win your case against this lot. I was only ripped off for £35 but I got the same story about terms & conditions which were not displayed. The only way to beat them is to use their bullying tactics.
Several emails were sent backwards and forwards but when they received the following I received confirmation that they had refunded my money within 10 minutes! The obviously don't want to defend their case in court as they would be unlikely to win and they are obviously worried about a group of their victims getting together to publicly denounce them. Be firm, keep fighting, they will back down!
This is the email I sent them:

Please send me your service address for legal documents in the UK so I can issue County Court Claim Documents.

If the sum claimed is NOT paid within 24 hours I intend to start a campaign with other victims of you scam to take this matter further. I have enclosed a few pages of complaint from various victims of your scam; this is just a small section of the dossier I am building up. So far I've got details of in excess of 300 dissatisfied UK Age Renew customers all of which consider they have been ripped off.

I intend to post an invitation on all of the review sites of customers that feel they have been scammed by your company asking them to join me in building up a strong case against your company to present to various BBC consumer programs and to the national press. I fully accept that I have been ripped off but in truth £33.88 is in real terms of little significance, it is the principal that you continue to rip off unsuspecting customers for what I can see are substantial sums for a poor quality product using totally underhand and perhaps illegal marketing techniques. When I phoned my bank to query the payment they instantly knew what it was about when I mentioned your name, they knew about your scam and said it was a regular occurrence so I guess this happens to huge number of people.

The offer I received said, ‘CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOUR FOLLOWING GIFTS WORTH OVER £30'. How could your offer on the terms you supply be worth OVER £30? As you can see from the small sample of complaints attached none of the other victims saw any terms and conditions.

In a way I hope you don't accept my claim, I'm looking forward to a fight and if it adds damage to rip-off organizations such as your company then it'll be worth the effort!

See you in Court, TV and the National Press!

Don't forget to send your service address that could rub even more salt in the wound if you're not willing to fight your case in Court!

You can win your case, just use their tatics!

Tip for consumers:
Keep away from these crooks. If you've been ripped off by them don't give in, keep pushing them, they will give way. If not, take them to Court, use information on support sites to confirm your experience is a common factor, they will back down, if not they will lose.
