It's been a few weeks since I purchased the masterclass. Very happy with it so far. My yorkie used to pull on his leash everytime I used to take him out for a walk. That has now stopped completely, and he maintains constant eye contact with me during our walks. He has also become a lot more calm inside the house instead of being excitable all the time, as he used to be.
I purchased the Total Transformation Masterclass from K9 Training Institute and am super-impressed. Walking with Carlo (our German Shepherd puppy) has become so much more enjoyable now! Instead of constantly pulling on his leash like he used to, he now always walks at our side. And instead of trying to run away everytime we open the front door (and almost getting run over by a car once because of this), he now sits patiently in front of the door even without a leash on until I give him permission to go out. He has become so well-trained and seems to almost behave like a service dog now!
I was pleasantly surprised by all of the information in the free dog training workshop provided by the K9 Training Institute. Things that made so much sense, but I had never even thought about will come in so handy when I begin training my puppy. (I haven't picked her up yet) I was particularly impressed with the short videos about how to stop a dog from jumping up on people, and how to handle barking when someone is at your door, just to mention a couple.
I have only been able to get through one video so far as my life is always so crazy busy but it has been a five star experience so far! Great information in an easy to understand way! Thank you all for making this Single mama of 3 young kids and two dogs and two cats life just that much easier! It truly makes the difference!
I found the video very useful and have found good results when tackling the same jumping issues. My new puppy certainly will benefit from service training as my puppy matures but there is no time like the present. I agree good habits can be implemented even at 7 weeks of age. Doctor, you have a great team
I like the concepts in training presented. Body language and hand signals make sense. Too much focus is placed on treats and words. Dogs respond more consistently without bribes or repetitive words they do not understand.
My dog loves this task he follows through easy.
It's a matter of repeating the theory of training. I would like to thank you very much for your help.
This program is awesome! It's helped tremendously with my 11 week old puppy! I would definitely say to use this training for any dog anytime no matter the age
New owner with a 10 week old puppy need to train but disabled but hopefully this course will help. Thank you Jane
I enjoyed the informative article. My 7 year old plot hound really needs this training since we must keep her on a line at all times and she refuses to come when called. We just acquired an 8 week old Border Collie/Catahoula mix that should benefit, as well 🤩
The free workshop was very good. I have a degree in psychology but reviewing operant conditioning for dogs and how to apply it to them was very insightful. Also the use of body language makes perfect sense as they do not speak English.
I have a male - he's big, beautiful and very strong! Difficult walker, he leads I follow, so training me was necessary and changing directions when he pulls was the most important thing I could do to change his behavior. He's not food driven so it's difficult to get his attention, changing directions really works!
I have read a book and different articles about best ways to train your dog but this one really makes sense. I have read articles about how using sign language to train your dog is valuable. After watching this short video I have been using some sign language and I feel like he does understand it much better than verbal commands. I am really excited about beginning to use the techniques that were described in the video and the commands shown. I feel confident that I will have success. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi there! I appreciate the bit of info in the video. It was great and I can tell there's a lot more to get from it. I took notes on what I could and intend to carry the little bit of advice shared along with me. I could not afford $300 or so for classes. I didn't like that the hype to get the video at all was that it was free free free, and only so little info shared on actual training, to be lead up to a very large purchase for the real info. But otherwise I appreciate what bit I did get from it, and think y'all are good folks! Thank you! I'd love to check out your download.
Zoey jumps on us and also people coming into our house. We are working with her in stopping this habbit and we are certain that within a week or two she will not be jumping on people anymore. Your technique is so easy to do. Zoey is a 7 months old Rottweiler and loves us very much. She is also very intelligent. When she wants to go outside to do her business, she walks towards the door, turns around and looks at us making eye contact, then goes to the door and rings the door bell. She is awesome.
The free training course was excellent. It gave an introduction to things taught in the paid course, and also explained how dogs need a job to do, how they communicate with body language almost totally (not so much with verbal commands). I would highly recommend this free course!
Great help and tips in training. Haven't completed all but always referred back when having issues with Chewy. Thank you for the help you provide
I have been applying some of your suggested techniques with my 4 month old golden retriever puppy, Sunshine, with great success, i.e. Problem puppy behavior: Jumping and nipping when excited to greet me. I do not make eye contact; do not interact - keep walking. If behavior persists, i walk into her space..., then ignore until undesired behavior stops. Since watching your video, I have learned to resist the temptation to reach over and pet her immediately when she stops, as that seems to provoke a continuation of the undesired behavior, jumping and nipping...
I tried so many ways to train my pup but somehow I taught it was ok to jump on me and if my hands moves it playtime. My body language was all wrong. Watching the video I learned how to change my body language and my habits. Beau does not jump on me after 4 days. He has calm down and is beginning to get new jobs to keep him happy and content. Thank you for this video!
I was impressed with how detailed the free Workshop Training is. Explanations and examples are given so its easy to understand, and implement. I can tell these trainers are passionate about bettering dogs' lives by bettering their owner's understanding. Its win-win for everyone.
He pulls me around when I walk him. I am 71 years of age and he is strong. When he sees another dog, hold on! I have him at four weeks old, and he is my partner for sure. I related to the training you advised in the reading. I strongly agree with hand signals or body language. I look forward to more training tips. Thank You...RP
Great training tips via email and video. My new 3 year old Great Pyrenees we adopted a month ago needs some training and they nailed it with the advise they gave me. Thanks you
Loved the free workshop. We learned several things to try that seem to work well for our puppy so far. I would love to take the formal class, but it's out of our budget, even at $200 off.
Thank you for the great free workshop on dog training. I have viewed different articles and videos on the subject to learn to work with my new puppy, but your training is in a whole another level. When you said it was the secrets that are used for service dogs I was intrigued. I was very impressed by the science behind your approach which gave me a better understanding of how dogs think and why they do what they do. It's up to is to understand how to communicate with them, just like we adapt for our own kids at different ages. The training examples were amazing and gives every day dog owners an opportunity to try the techniques and apply them and see them work in our dogs. I am a believer in your approach and thank you for sharing the secrets with us normal dog people!
This was a very informative video that gave me new ideas and techniques to try with our recently adopted, reactive Labrador. I have been through many videos and training tips as well as hiring a trainer to help, without much luck. Dr. Diaz gave some suggestions and tips that made sense. I'm anxious to try using them in our daily training.
After watching the preview training video, I tried out some of the training tips on my 16 week Chow puppy and I was amazed at the reaction response. When I can afford to sign up for the Training program I definitely will! This looks like a really great training program!
