This is a review for softwarekeps. Softwarekeps is an online retailer that chose a name similar to softwarekeeps to fool people. I don't know if softwarekeeps is also a scam, but it wouldn't surprise me. I'm only explaining with evidence below that softwarekeps is a scam.

First, they charge you $129. Then they send you this link. Sorry, this is an UPDATED review. I pasted the wrong link before. The link below is the actual link that SoftwareKeps sends you to download the software you paid for. There is no license key. The file has malware in it, so if you execute the.exe install file, make sure that it is on a test computer and not your regular machine. I included the link to DEMONSTRATE that this is bogus. If you want to buy an Acrobat 2022 DC Pro trial copy with malware in it, you can click on the link below to get the same file they will send you for $129, but you can just get the malware for free now (assuming that's what you want).

https://www.softwarekeps.com/Download/AdobeAcrobatProDC2022x64.exe

You download an exe file and malwarebytes says that it is trying to install a "trojan.bat.dds" file and then it launches a web browser and takes you to a site selling what looks like pirated software that also probably has malware in it.

The company says it is in Tennessee, but it has a +44 UK phone number that nobody answers.

So far as I can tell, my antivirus software kept this executable from installing malware, but I ended up canceling that credit card and getting a replacement just in case they were going to go shopping with it.

The e-mail with that link says "you don't need a license key because the software is 'preactivated'" and also "please make sure to turn off your antivirus before installing the software."

At the very least, I wish that offshore scam companies would hire a marketing consultant so that they can develop brand names that aren't in broken English, nonsensical, etc. Softwarekeeps and softwarekeps both appear to be brand names in English created by non-native speakers who didn't bother taking a six week English language course. I speak Spanish as a second language and since I'm not an awful, lazy person, I would totally ask a native speaker, use a dictionary, etc. before making a brand name in Spanish for a company or product.

Tip for consumers:
I had to ask my bank to reverse the charge, which will take 10 days. After seeing that the exe tried to install a file called "Trojan.BAT.DDS" I decided to also cancel the card and get a new one. Wells Fargo also sucks because after an offshore contract employee reviewed my explanation and documentation of this obviously fraudulent charge, the person decided that I did get a free trial version with malware and so it wasn't a fraudulent charge and they gave Softwarekeps my money!

Products used:
I had to ask my bank to reverse the charge, which will take 10 days.
