About 6 months ago I leased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz Night. After less than 2 weeks, I noticed that the tail gate would open by itself after the vehicle was parked. I didn't think much of it at the time because I thought maybe the bugs needed to be worked out. I only have 3800 miles on it. I kept doing it more except now the front windows would sometimes go down also. Sometimes the radio will change stations. I went back to the dealer. SUNTRUP in St. Louis, Mo. Their service manager said there wasn't anything he could do. Told me to call Hyundai. Did so. They told me to call Blue Link. I did. Blue Link said it was not their problem and told me to call Hyundai. I called Hyundai again. They told me it would be 3 to 5 days to call me back. I tried to call the service manager at Suntrup Hyundai. His voice mail said he would call me back within 72 hours. I'm still waiting for that call back. 4 days later Hyundai finally called me back. Said I needed to call Blue Link again. I told her to make it a conference call so she could sit in on the call. Blue Link again said it was not their problem. Hyundai then said I needed to call Blue Link again. I told her that I was finished with Blue Link and that she could call them. Recently, my front windows came down again after turning the vehicle off and exiting the vehicle. I need this new vehicle fixed and I keep getting the run around. At this time I would not purchase anything from any Suntrup dealer, nor will I recommend any Suntrup dealer to anyone looking to purchase any kind of vehicle. If they are going to give you the run around for vehicle warranty problems, purchase at an American manufacturer product. I will never purchase an import vehicle again.
