Whenever I find some company or product that is super-suck, I feel the need to get that info out there in the world so others may be spared the hassle and expense.

PSA to all - Turkey Hill Ice Cream has reduced the amount of ice cream in their containers. They used to be 1.5 quart, now they are only 1.44 quart and the price has stayed the same, maybe even gone up a little. I don't like how all these companies are sneaking in smaller amounts in their packaging and are still charging the same, if not more. Turkey Hill is just another greedy company to add to the list of companies not to buy from again. I understand prices are on the rise across the board for everything, but I don't like the sneaky reduced packaging technique that many companies are now using.
And why did the packaging used to say "Premium Ice Cream," but now it says, "Frozen Dairy Dessert?"

Bad things about Whitetail Disposal
1. Inconsistencies with trash pick-up schedules. Sometimes they come early in the day, sometimes they come late. Sometimes they come the day after the normal day.
2. Recently raised prices
3. No one ever answers the phone or returns a call
4. We do not get bills on time or ever, in some cases
5. Their billing department is clueless

One would think that all trash services are the same. They have one job to do, pick-up the garage every week. How hard is that? For Whitetail Disposal, it seems to be a very difficult task.

I made the mistake of switching over to Whitetail Disposal last year because they were cheaper than what I had been paying. The very first pickup that was scheduled – no one came. I should have known then that this was not a good company, but I was locked in for a year (early cancelation fee of $75.00). They got on track and things were okay until I scheduled a bulk pick-up. I had a couch to toss and I called to schedule the pickup. They said it would be a few days… no one came. After a week and a half, I had a friend take it away. I was then charged for the bulk pick-up on my next bill. I tried to cancel at this point (March 2021), but that is when I found out about the early termination fee, so I canceled my cancellation request.

At the beginning of July, no one came for my trash. I called to find out what was up. No one answered the phone or ever called me back after I left a message. I ended up emailing and found out my service had been cancelled. This was two months after I had tried to cancel and then didn't because of the termination fee, so I was very confused. Things finally got straightened out again and now it is September and we were charged all kinds of late fees for missing the Jul-Aug-Sep payment. We never got a bill in the mail and I never thought anything about it. I thought it had been paid over the phone when my service stopped in July, so I thought I was good until the end of September. Nope! So, it was my mistake for missing a payment, but tacking on $22.50 in late fees? No thanks! Also, the rates went up with no notice. The payment was $65.00 for trash and recycling for three months, billed quarterly. Now there are all these extra charges for recycling and fuel that brings my quarterly bill to $78.00.

They also leave a mess behind…

Find someone else to haul your trash away.

I have not purchased much from ABEBooks.com, because I can usually find a better price elsewhere, but the recent book I bought will absolutely be the last.
I purchased a Python coding textbook. It was an international version and I know to be careful with those, but it was advertised as "Brand new book. This is an international edition textbook with identical content as the US version and is usually paperback bound instead of hardcover."
It turned out to be very used and not identical at all. My first assignment was a processing exercise that did not even exist in the book I got, so not identical. Also, the ad claimed that the seller, booksdeck, is 5-star and they are not.
I started a return on the book (8/24/21) and the seller expected me to pay for shipping. I emailed the seller and asked why I would be responsible for that since the book was falsely advertised. I did not receive a response. A week and a half had gone by, so I decided to just pay the shipping and send the book back. A week after I sent the book, the seller rejected my return request. I sent them the USPS tracking number and also contacted ABEBooks about it. I now have nothing else. All I know is that I do not have my money back, I had to pay for return shipping, and I am tired of dealing with this ridiculousness.
No one has time for hassles like this. Personally, I will never buy anything from ABEBooks again and I implore you to please, please, please consider other options before buying from ABEBooks.com

Tip for consumers:
If returning due to false advertising, do not select "buyer does not want item" as the return reason. Even though this seems to be the best reason out of the ones that are available, DO NOT select it as you will probably have to pay for return shipping yourself and may not get any of your money back.

Such a bait-and-switch scam! I understood it was cheap crap from China, but BE CAREFUL! Advertised pictures do not match the product you actually get. If the picture shows a wonderful playset, like a parking garage and toy cars, you think you get the whole thing, but in reality, you get a few plastic toy cars. READ THE DESCRIPTIONS THOROUGHLY before wasting your money!

My first orders have finally arrived and nothing is as advertised. I bought a handheld game which was supposed to have a port for connecting a controller. No port and the screen is way smaller than in the picture. I also got some toy vehicles. The picture shows a trailer with smaller vehicles. What I got was 4 small plastic cars.

Sellers on Tophatter are scamming people, Tophatter knows it, and they let it happen! The item reviews on the site are fake, the pictures are deceiving. I have seen people paying $24 for an 8 and half inch (22 cm = 8.67 in) plastic robot toy because the picture shows the robot next to a toddler and the robot is taller! SCAMMERS!
Getting refunded is not the point, putting people through the disappointment and hassle is wrong and it should not be allowed! Things are so cheap, it is not worth spending the money to return anything and that's the scam! Hundreds of people get ripped off every day, while Tophatter is laughing all the way to the bank!

Tip for consumers:
READ the DESCRIPTIONS!!!! The pictures are lies!

Products used:
I requested refunds for all, but I am not paying for anything to be sent back. If I get my money back, great! If not, then I will be out a few bucks.
