At 4:30 pm I placed my order at Shang Hai Chinese Restaurant in Lakeland FL. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. At 5:00 pm, after watching 4 other customers who ordered onsite receive their food before me, I was curious. I asked the employee at the register if there was a problem. He told me the other customers must have ordered online and arrived for pickup. I told him I heard them order their food after I had ordered. Another employee walked out of the kitchen. In front of 3 other customers, he told me "If you have problem go to other restaurant." As I left, the other customers assured me they would go to a different restaurant. Customers are not ignored and treated rudely because they are female!

This was my worst Publix experience in 15 years! I was hassled at customer Service for returning 4 microwave egg dishes that had expired 3 days before they were purchased. They don't accept expired products! At the deli I was told chicken in the display window is not tougher than that fresh from the Autosham. How do they know the fit of my dentures? I was then unable to reach the cold side salads because an employee was blocking the display with a huge cart of boxed side salads. When she asked me if I needed something, I told her I wanted coleslaw. She ignored me and continued stocking the cabinet. I'm now headed to KFC. Publix has become as unconcerned as Walmart. The difference? Publix is much more expensive. The customer service and kindness of their previous employees used to be worth the additional expense.
