United Regions Van Lines was excellent throughout the entire process, beginning with the quotation and ending with the unpacking. Mike checked out the things that needed to be relocated, as well as the number of people, the equipment, and the available parking space at our house. He was consistently forthright and transparent in his replies to my many questions. The value and the results were superb.
This is a bait and switch company. They'll give you a binding estimate and then later, after everything has been loaded into their rental trucks, make you sign another estimate. In my case it went from $16300 to $21850. Totally unprofessional company where you're not allowed to speak to anyone in management, just Tina in customer service. And all the moves I've made over the years. I've never seen such a duplicitous company. Don't trust your belongings to these people.

This is a bait and switch company. They'll give you a binding estimate and then later, after everything has been loaded into their rental trucks, make you sign another estimate. In my case it went from $******* to $*******. Totally unprofessional company where you're not allowed to speak to anyone in management, just Tina in customer service. And all the moves I've made over the years. I've never seen such a duplicitous company. Don't trust your belongings to these people.
First, from the salesperson to the office staff, they're profligate liars. I explained to David, the salesperson that when we moved from Florida to Virginia we required a semi to transport all of our belongings. I estimated 19-20 thousand pounds of furniture with our two motorcycles. I had two other movers who estimated the same. David said they would use the inventory provided by one of the movers to complete United Regions estimate. He even sent two photos of the semi-trucks that would pick up our belongings. (see attached photos). Originally, the packers were supposed to arrive on 10 and 11 November 2023 to do a full pack and then load on 12 November. I made the mistake of giving a deposit to them. They called during the week they were supposed to arrive and finally admitted they would not be there until 11 November and would pack and load in 1 day. Well, now I know how they can pack in one day because they arrived in two rental trucks with six packers they must have hired along the way. These people had no regard for my possessions. I could not supervise all six and so many things were just thrown into boxes with zero wrapping paper. Don't believe what you read on their website because they were not experienced packers at all. This company is slick. Instead of sending me an estimate for total pounds, they calculated total cubic feet. As a result, they packed single items in wardrobe boxes like a pillow or lampshade.
In any event, I told the supervisor he would not fit all of our items onto the two 26 foot rental trucks but he insisted they would get everything in the two and take them to storage in Manassas, Virginia for 1 month. At the end of the day, the supervisor finally admitted he had miscalculated and they would require another truck and they would be back first thing in the morning to finish up. He pulled out a revised estimate and insisted I sign it. I had no choice since all of our possessions were already loaded onto the two rental trucks. So my original estimate of $16,350 now grew another 35% to $21,850. Folks, they have you over a barrel at this point so there is nothing you can do. It was extortion all the way because they controlled the whereabouts of my furniture.
On the Monday, I called the company to speak to a manager to find out why my price had risen so much and I got a woman named Tina who was very condescending. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me she was as high up as I was going to go as far as making a complaint. She kept saying, "Read your contract." The problem with United Regions is you cannot determine where they are located. The web site says Milwaukee, WI but the letter head says Columbus, OH.
We had chosen to place our furniture in storage while we searched for a home to purchase in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. When we finally had a contract and a closing date, I notified United Regions the earliest we could accept delivery. We were told they could deliver any time within 17 business days so we didn't expect delivery prior to Christmas. We closed on our home on December 8 and I advised United Regions that December 9 was my first available date for delivery. We were so surprised when we got a phone call saying delivery would indeed be on December 9. This was the only positive interaction we had with United Regions. When delivery date arrived, another rental semi came with the driver and four random people from Tampa to offload our furniture.
I served 21 years in the USAF and moved numerous times. Additionally, I've moved from Virginia to Florida, instate from Cape Coral, FL to Palm Harbor, FL and from Palm Harbor, FL to Cape Coral, FL. I've also moved from Florida to Virginia. I'm missing the rails to attach my mirror to my chest of drawers and various other items. This was the most horrendous move I've ever made. If you read the Better Business Bureau reviews, you will see a pattern of gross misconduct with bait and switch and you will see the same response from the owner/manager. Don't believe anything they tell you. I will say once again, DO NOT TRUST YOUR POSSESSIONS TO THIS IGNOBLE COMPANY.
They provided excellent customer service from the minute I got in touch with them. The phone agent was pleasant, knowledgeable, and understanding of all my inquiries.
From the moment they arrived, I knew I wouldn't be displeased with them. They worked hard and were devoted to moving my stuff safely! Very impressed by their professionalism!
Thanks to the Movers, our interstate move went off without a hitch. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine interest in making sure their customers were happy shone through at every stage. My move went as well as could be expected.
The movers did a fantastic job. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they were very careful with my possessions while they packed and transported them. Absolutely, I would employ their services one more for my subsequent Endeavor.
Had nothing but trouble with them. Representatives would no respond to emails or messages until I ask if they were scammers, they kept finding ways to jump the price. My price increased nearly $3000 more. The guys that loaded the truck were not careful with fragile items, had broken items on delivery, driver did not reassemble items that were in contract he said he didn't have tools. A terrible experience. Would never recommend
I had a positive experience with this team. Compared to helping friends move, our move with them was much smoother. The crew was friendly and made the entire process less stressful. They were also punctual and professional. This team is trustworthy.
We had hired a moving company for an interstate move between AZ and OH. Issues began when the two individuals from the company arrived on 04/01/2023. I own a 1222 lb. gun safe. This was told to the company when they were hired. The company only sent two people for my move with just standard dollies. In the past, it has taken at Least 2 people and specialized tools to move my safe. We were also told that we would owe more money since the cu. Ft. Was underestimated. Nothing was explained to me as far as the process of making an inventory. Both of the individuals were from the Ukraine and only one of them spoke broken English. They had to go hire three additional men off the street to move my safe. It was loaded on its side in the back of the truck. I had a grandfather clock loaded into the truck as well with the rest of my belongings.
I did not take delivery of my items until 04/27/2023. When they finally arrived, my safe literally looked like it was rolled off the back of the truck onto the ground. It has deep scratches, gouges, and scrapes on all sides of it. Also, one of the hinges for the door was bent. My grandfather clock was not on the truck, my grill had a large dent on the lid, an antique chair was split on the back, and my tv stand was damaged on the back.
I called the company and they outright refused to acknowledge that my clock was even picked up. I completed the claim process with the "independent processor" and was offered a grand total of $75.00. My gun safe cost over $4000.00 when I bought it in 2017. To purchase the same model now would be over $8000.00.
The results from united regions van lines were exceptional. The packers I hired handled all of the packing for me. Other things, like paperwork and letters, required my attention and preparation. The day was less stressful than it may have been because of how swiftly it passed.
Look at Google reviews. Those are real people being scamed by this company. They prey on people that don't understand all the hidden fees associated with moving.
They quote you one price, then in the small print of the contract, they put tons of extra fees... AT ALL.COSTS, DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!

My most recent cross-country move was handled with the same degree of care as if the movers had been transporting their own family heirloom china set. I had complete peace of mind that my grandmother's antique cabinet and pricey wine glasses would arrive safely at my new home.
Moving from New York to Los Angeles was an epic journey. Packing up my home was not just about boxing items, but boxing up a chunk of my life. The moving team treated each item with the care it deserved, from my book collection to my family's antique clock.Despite the long distance, they reached LA in record time and kept me informed. When we faced a challenge due to my new hilltop home's narrow, winding roads, the crew swiftly offered a solution: transferring my belongings to a smaller truck capable of navigating the tricky terrain. This extra step didn't shake their professionalism or humor. They made the transition smooth, and soon, my belongings found their place in my new home. Despite potential stress, the crew made the moving experience positive. I would recommend their excellent service to anyone. Moving can be daunting, but with the right team, it's an adventure. Thanks, guys!

Sometimes I can get very forgetful, i told someone on the team this and they took their time to label the boxes with each item that ws in it. Now if that isnt thriving for customer saitisfaction, i honestly dont know what is. I never really thouhght id like the moving experience but United regions made it stress free and i think thats what made me enjoy it. Great experience
We engaged United Regions Van Lines for our move from WA to TN, but the experience turned into a nightmare, leading us to file complaints with BBB, FTMC, Attorneys General offices, a news station, and the FBI. Our complaints encompass allegations of extortion, coercion, deceptive billing practices, and unethical conduct. The movers, arriving a day late with poor communication, coerced my wife into signing additional paperwork, threatening not to move items without her compliance. They adjusted the price multiple times with unclear explanations.
1. Intimidation and price Adjustments:
My wife was coerced into signing additional paperwork on moving day, with papers disappearing and new ones brought for signing repeatedly. One mover was intimidating her under already stressful circumstances.
Repeated adjustments to the price without clear explanations.
Phone representatives and apparent manager yelling at us on the phone.
Discrepancies between the Binding Estimate Contract and subsequent Bill of Lading.
2. Unexplained Charges:
Movers disassembled items initially counted as one item, charging for individual components under 'miscellaneous,' causing exponential item increases and subsequent costs.
Items wrapped without notice, with charges applied; despite being told we could pack and wrap as desired.
Charges for packing supplies. Price changes allegedly due to weight issues (making us split boxes up, though weight was not supposed to be a factor) along with supposed increased square footage on their truck and stacking limitations, lacking adequate explanation or evidence.
3. Communication Issues:
Lack of transparency and explanations during the moving process.
4. Third-Party Involvement:
United Regions Van Lines used unauthorized third-party movers (EZ Way Logistics Inc.) citing the contract allows it but we had no verbal communication about this and we have no contract documentation indicating this is permitted. They state they may have 'misplaced' documents.
Refusal to reassemble items at delivery, contradicting the contract terms.
Insistence on cash payment without specifying physical currency, resulting in unhappiness with Venmo and Zelle payments.
5. Lack of Documentation:
Failure to provide receipts and detailed documentation despite multiple requests.
Questions about the validity of the digital copy of the final Bill of Lading, highlighting discrepancies between signed documents.
Requests for refunds and reimbursement for damaged goods have gone unanswered, leaving us with legal recourse. We caution others to avoid United Regions Van Lines, hoping our experience serves as a deterrent from the nightmarish encounter we endured.

The boys did an excellent job, efficiently wrapping and packing my goods while remaining courteous and adhering to my instructions for where to place the furniture. No breaks occurred.
A smooth transition for my business! Jerry and Michael were superheroes during my corporate relocation from TX to KY. They flawlessly packed up my office furniture, from desks to filing cabinets, and set it all up in the new space. They even connected my computer and printer.
Moved from Arizona to Tennessee at a cost of $30,000, submitted a claim for damage due to terrible move, and was offered $75 in settlement. Missing items, broken items, all the outdoor furniture damaged. Do not use a mover that requires cash payments, it is a scam.
They went above and beyond to assist in assembling and securing furniture, showcasing remarkable efficiency and effectiveness. Their affordability and outstanding reputation make them a standout choice.
I hired United Regions Van Lines for a long distance move (price of $4,400). They delived my property on May 23,2023 and the the same day I realized a travel bag with ~$4,000 worth of ski equipment was MISSING. I informed Customer Service immediately and have been checking in on a weekly cadence to see if they were able to locate my missing travel bag. Each time I contacted Customer Service they told me they had no update and NO EFFORT had been made to look for the missing bag. After a FULL MONTH of no updates from the business, I resorted to filing a claim with my insurance company to get reimbursed for the STOLEN items. To do this, the insurance company asked me to file a POLICE REPORT claiming THEFT against United Regions Van Lines. Victim information notice is attached in this complaint along with photo of the missing travel bag. Please return my travel bag/ski equipment ASAP.
The entire moving process was pleasant and stress-free, thanks to United Regions Van Lines. Everyone arrived on time, both the salesperson who gave the quotation and the movers who picked up and delivered our stuff was amazing!
United regional Van Lines which I call let's keep them all in the dark. They do not know when your furniture is coming. It takes them 2 to 3 days to load it on the truck. Once it's on the truck they don't know if your first second or third to be delivered. Apparently dispatch does not talk to customer service so customer service can't give you any answers. This is a company that doesn't communicate between separate offices. Seems like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. And ending I say do not hire United reading regional Van Lines if you are moving. My furniture was taken out of our home in Virginia the end of June it is now the end of July and no one knows when we will get it. Now we have moved on to it could take anywhere up to 10 days. For them to get it off the truck
As far as we were concerned, they were kind and flexible. They inquired whether anything else needed to be moved to the left or right after they had already moved it. They covered the floors of our kitchen and our new garage to protect them from harm. Before leaving, they double-checked that everything was to our satisfaction. Friends that need to transfer stuff around should get a car, two guys, and some interchangeable outfits.
My beautiful dinnerware was in good care with these movers. Nothing was damaged during the move because of how expertly they handled the packaging. They are deserving of winning MVP!
The crew from United Regions Van Lines meticulously covered my floors and walls to prevent any damage during the move.
